Best Curry in East Auckland Highly recommend to everyone, ingredients were fresh not frozen dishes are made when ordered not precooked. definitely high quality worth the price.I highly recommend the fish curry mild to medium with a tomatoe base
This place was on the way home and I was wanting to get some takeaway so I stopped by to try it. They did have online ordering but I didn't know and just ended up ordering takeaway there. There were a few people who did that and just picked up their meals without having to wait.
The menu is fairly large with a selection of different items. I tried the chicken Murg Tak-a-tak, the goat curry, and the lamb briyani. The restaurant wasn't particularly big but did have quite a few tables. I really like the briyani with the raita. I thought it had a nice flavour and a nice kick to it. The Murg Tak-tak was ok, I thought it tasted mostly of capsicum. Not sure if that is how it's supposed to be though. I though the goat curry was ok too. It would've been nicer if you could taste more of the spices in the curry.
Very happy with this place. Travelled over 20 minutes to eat here each way, and I will definitely be going back.

The flavours are outstanding! The place is small and does not look appealing from the outside but cannot say anything negative about the food. The owners are friendly and the food is tasty especially the chef special shahi paneer. The prices recently went up but are still comparable among other similar restaurants. Have visited this restaurant many times!
Thats by far the best Indian food I had in Auckland. Super yummy. Their food is not just food its actually feeling.😍😍 Whenever I think of it again my mouth starts watering. The goat curry was soo yummy with so authentic flavours and the specially pahadi mushroom masala was sooooo yumm that I cant wait to eat again. BEST BEST BEST indian food i tried. The butter naan was so soft.
Moreover the most important thing, the staff is very nice. Specially the owner. Very down to earth person.

Pahadi Pearl is a little gem in my small neighbourhood. I loved that it was family owned. Service was average but no complaints. The owner cane out to speak to us directly and was an incredibly lovely and humble man. The prawn curry was amazing and so was the fish curry I ordered. A little pricy but I’m willing to help out local families with their businesses.
I had ordered takeaway often from them after my initial visit. Such delicious naan bread too!

Tbh, this is the BEST Indian place we've ever been to, we don't usually buy Indian food but I guess our decision has to change, after coming to this restaurant, we've truly realised how delicious Indian food is.

My expectations for this restaurant really exceeded and wow, I’ve never had quite authentic and flavourful curry in a while and this hit the mark. I ordered the chicken tikka masala with rice and 2 garlic naan, the tikka masala was so creamy, tasty and delightful and paired with the garlic naan just made it even better. The chicken wasn’t dry and was juicy and tender. I ordered by calling the restaurant which was fairly easy and whilst picking up my order felt very welcomed by the lovely young girl at the counter as well as her father in the back. The pricing is very much worth the food and I wish I had bought double of what I ordered! I’m excited to come back and I hope it’s soon, thank you for the great experience :)
Very nice restaurant, exceptional service and delicious food. The prices are good, especially considering how fulling the meals are and the quality. The food comes out quickly as well. Highly recommend!!
If you are craving some delicious Indian cuisine with a cozy family oriented atmosphere, this place is PERFECT!!!! Their food is absolutely divine and their pricing is wonderful for the large portion sizes you are given. If you choose to dine in, the service they provide is lovely. They will make sure you are comfortable and enjoying your meal and also appreciate any feedback you may have for them. This is one of my top favorite places to eat and they also deliver. I have done at least 10 DoorDash orders from various takeaway , this is one of the places who takes effort to really take my diet restriction carefully and offered alternatives on what I ordered. chickpeas curry was nice too . Thank you
I order various spices for the kids and us adults. The Lamb Saagwala is always my favorite, lamb always so tender. Others like chicken korma and butter chicken. Another yum family dinner! Rated atmosphere, as I order in store and always get friendly welcome & service from Ved.

This is my second time ordering, and both times, the meals have been really good, the service was good both times ready when I arrived, I enjoyed the chili chicken and vegetarian meals from here.
I got a butter chicken and chicken korma as take aways. The taste was super creamy and it is difficult to stop eating. Chicken in both meals was tender with large chunks. Highly recommended!
My husband and I had lunch here today and were really impressed with our meals. It was so yummy and the service was great! I’m pregnant and have been craving Indian food for the past week, the dishes we ordered definitely satisfied all my cravings. I’m just disappointed that we are here on holiday from Australia so can’t make this our regular Indian place.
