I have never dined in at Pattaya, however my takeaway experience is always fantastic. the food is ready and made so quickly, the staff are always friendly and happy to change things if need be. we always order the chicken sweeming rama (not sure if i spelt that correctly) which comes with rice and the mixed entree ! delicious food and great prices ! We order food here every 1-2 weeks ad love it. thanks so much!
The staff were extremely nice and accommodating, and the food tasted quite authentic. The price is a bit on the hefty side, as with most Thai restaurants. The atmosphere was nice for a date night and the food is served quite quickly.
Great Thai food. I like this place especially because they do not use MSG. Pad Thai and Tofu dishes were really nice but serving sizes are a bit small.
We have been going to the restaurant every Friday night, for years now, when we are not out of town. Cannot get by without our fix of their fabulous food. We often compare with other Thai restaurants and the flavours at Pattaya always win. Same owners for years, so always great.

This is our local Thai and I have yet to find another Thai restaurant in Auckland that tops there Tofu dish with basil and chili. They are great value, the staff are always friendly and helpful and I have taken many friends to eat there (all of them have loved it too).
We thoroughly enjoyed the set menu this evening. Set in a quaint and tasteful authentic setting, Pattaya Thai does a great job of bringing delicious Thai food to Auckland. The entrees and mains were very tasty and I appreciated that rice is included and provided when needed, rather than tiny little pots that other restaurants provide. The hostess was lovely, knowledgeable and had a wry sense of humor. Price-wise, at $29 for a full entree, main and dessert, we really felt like we were getting a good deal. Thanks guys!
Still the BEST satay skewers and flaky roti bread on the Shore. We also had the chicken & cashew stir fry and beef Massaman curry, which was great. We had takeaway and thereās enough left for a small lunch tomorrow, winning!
Been eating here for years. My go to Thai place. staff are always lovely and the food is really nice.
I ordered Chicken Pad Thai for takeaway. I was a little disappointed with the portion for $16.90. It tastes just like the average pad thai.
Had vegan red curry and a vegan stir fry satay. The red curry Had lots of aroma and flavour. Definitely the best Iāve had in northshore!
The peanut sauce in the satay stir fry was quite sweet and could do with some peanut bits in it however didnāt take away too much from the overall experience. Thanks for the good food! Will be back for more curry! :)

I like this Thai restaurant. Been here many times and have had takeaways . It has a very good menu. Food is good The eating area is basic but OK. The staff here without exception have always made us very welcome. I think a little overpriced for the size of the meals. But I definitly think its worth a try.
Usually not big on Thai, but wife loves it. We went there after lockdown as a bid to support local business. Super friendly staff, turns out, I do like Thai. Just all the Thai places I've been to in Auckland have just been boring in flavour. Pattaya by far the best I've had. Very nice flavors, not to heavy on the stomach. We also ordered Pad Thai? Whatever it's called to take away for lunch the next day and that too was bloody good. Certainly going there again.
Love this Thai restaurant. We keep going back because the food is consistently delicious and the service is friendly, prompt and attentive.
