Went here for dinner last night the place has recently been redecorated and looks great. The owner/Cook was trying out a new burger pattie recipe and offered us a taste after he had flame grilled it, that was it we were sold. Actually the best burger I have eaten. The food was well presented, great price and so delicious. We will most Definitely be back.

If you’re looking for pub grub then this is a great local water hole. The fries are crispy and the salad is fresh. The pork belly was served in slices. It’s good and tasty but for some reason I was expecting it to be a portion with crispy crackling but it still tasted good. The lamb loin is delicious, a bit on the small side but taste great.

Purchased a voucher in Groupon which was affordable. Me and my partner ordered steaks and it was only ordinary. I mean it was fair enough for the price. The chips in the meal helps you to get full. The guys who served us were kind and enthusiastic. Overall, the experience was fine. I wouldn't come back here in a rush but I can recommend this to people who like to try new places.

I come here now and then when I feel like steak, nice and quiet place to chill. Steak, salad &sauces are yummy, but chips not really.. sometimes good or sometimes over cooked lols. But overall I enjoy this place. A nice little restaurant/bar place with gaming machines.

RAVE RAVE RAVE!!!!! You really can't go wrong with the impeccable service. Hostess Zoe's immense energy, zeal and passion for delivering such a complete customer service experience is just second to none. She along with her elite professionalism, endearing hospitableness, and just overall super friendly demeanour throughout our entire experience made our dining such a comfortable and memorable one. Me and boyfriend came here for dinner on a sunday night. Was nice and quiet, I enjoyed the tiger prawns and warm urban relaxed feel to the place.

Well, wanted to try this eatery for so long & finally made it. Got the takeaway option in
- 2x Old Smokey burgers with thick cut chips
- 1x 8 piece salt & pepper squid with tartare sauce
I won't lie, i actually thought that by looking at other reviewers photos the burgers were bigger than what we received. But upon stuffing my mouth it was actually a real good portion. Chips was crunchy, quite nice and my squid pieces was off the heezy as in it was very good.
Go give it a shot to each his/her own

The first place I'd been out go eat and drink after I landed in New Zealand. The service is pretty good and the place is pretty chilled out as well. Just at the tip of the pt Chev shops located on carrington road this place is very familiar for the Unitec students. Pretty good place to have a chilled up time with friends.

Dined here for dinner. The food was presented well and the staff were welcoming. Has a few vegetarian selection for burgers and starters. Dined with four people and our dinner was $71 which I thought was decent for good fresh food. 1st pic Vege Tower Burger, 2nd pic Very Hungry size Lamb chops, 3rd pic side salad with salt & pepper squid, last pic the Ole Smokey burger with double meat. Main meals come with fries. We will def come here again.

Had a beautiful lunch at The Flaming House today. My medium steak cooked right and chunky chips yum and delicious fresh salad. Presentation of food nicely done and prepared by one guy I think in the kitchen nicely managed. His service friendly and welcoming. Decided to try desserts as well and a delight. Local to home and affordable priced meals good portions and intend to dine here again soon/next week:)

didn't expect this place to serve good food.. the pork ribs was excellent cooked to perfection served with gravy chips and salad. just needed more seasoning on ribs. my friends ordered the big bird and old smokey burger meals. they were delicious. the salt & pepper squid was so yumm.. Very simple decor and atmosphere was comfortable and quiet. wnjoyed my time here ..repeat customer right here.
