Gingerbirds is a fabulous eatery which offers yummy cabinet food and delicious menu items. It is one of the best places to go for breakfast if you enjoy pastries and European style breakfast. Also check out their to-go meals in the fridge! You can't go wrong here.
I went to a party Saturday catered by this amazing Cafe.
Every plate was a dream. The Club sandwiches were best ever, tender juicy Filet Mignons,with dipping sauce, crunchy filo pastries with Prawn Mushroom and onion fillings.Delicious kebabs with tender filet steak and perfectly complimented with crunchy veges and super dressing.OMG!!!
we were all cried as we scoffed.The cheeseboard was t a lovely gooey dream with grapes small and so sweet. HEAVEN.
Me and my girlfriend just can't get enough of this place! We came here everyday for a week for their haloumi breakfast and brownie. Oh and their haloumi sandwich is to die for. Service and coffee both fantastic.
Our organisation recently moved to this location on Dominion Road and have been checking in to Gingerbird for Coffee each morning. We find the place warm and welcoming and the coffee sure is refreshing. Though the place sells a variety of Paleo and regular food/takeaway, they seem to be pricey compared to other joints like Mojo, Hollowood even in the CBD.
Not sure if I will pay $10 for a Medium sized salad that usually costs less than $7 elsewhere. In a location that is filled with Asian cusine, Gingerbird is able to differentiate their business through their food, and if they are able to rationalise their rate cards I am sure they will be THE GO-TO place.
Went in for a coffee and sandwich and I must say my very first visit to the store blew me away.One of the best coffee I've ever had in Mt Eden and the sandwich was too good. Kudos to the team.
Delicious food for decent price, friendly atomsposhere. Very accommodating to my needs and great staff! Especially the young man who does the main greeting!
Had a great flat white here. Small space inside makes it a bit if a squeeze, but really nice coffee and food options.
Love their take home frozen dinners. Lamb tagine and chicken curry are faves!
