We've been coming to this Cafe for a while now, and they never disappoint. Tonight was the first time doing dinner but never expected live entertainment. Yet again they have outdone themselves.
To the owners and staff, thanks for a wonderful evening.
What a lovely place with a great atmosphere (Friday nights they have live music) and the food is exceptional!
Although they are changing the menus from time to time, they are always absolutely delicious.
My all-time favorites are the prawns gnocchi, their special lasagna, and burrata.
Went for dinner as a group of 4. The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming and service excellent from the start. When we ordered our drinks the owner came to tell us he was almost out of the gin we’d asked for two of and would we like to switch to a different one. Whilst deciding, he told us not to worry, he would go and buy a fresh bottle of the one we’d originally asked for. We all ordered different dishes and every single one was delicious. Food came quickly and well-presented, in decent sized portions. Even though we were stuffed from the mains, we couldn’t resist dessert and ordered two to share. They were also delicious. Can’t fault anything about the evening at all, will be returning!
The staff was fantastic, thorough and thoughtful - the chef’s even thanked us as we paid. The food was exactly to order, delicious and hot. The team went above and beyond to accommodate my hot chocolate request, for a large bowl, rather than a standard cup. In short: fabulous and attentive. Worth every minute, and dollar. !!!
Enjoyed a lovely lunch here over the weekend. The owner is lovely, he was friendly and very personable which contributed to the experience. Coffee was really good, about as good if not better than other coffees shop in the area. Food was tasty and reasonably priced - no dramas on that end.
Excellent spot for breakfast, brunch and lunch. The seating is cozy and the heaters keep you warm in winter. Fast and efficient service. Superb coffee.
I'm a local and have been to The Milford Cafe many times, the food and service is always great.
I had to post a review today after having the below dish. I will be back for thelis dish again.

We had a wonderful family dinner here last night. The mushroom risotto and prawn fettuccine were fantastic! Full of flavour, generous on the prawns, and a great portion size. The owner was fantastic and the service just the right level - not too overbearing not too stark. $120 for two people including drinks and coffee was very reasonable. We will be returning! Thanks for a pleasant summer dinner.
