We have had several functions at Eden bistro this year both for corporate and private clients. This place has a very beautiful ambience and is quite little spot to have a nice dining experience.
The owner himself is head chef, he insures that food quality is amazing all the time, every time.
There is option to have indoor and outdoor tables.
You must check out the toilets. They are very well designed and the entire area looks great.
Whether you’re planning a birthday celebration, marriage anniversary or even going through a separation, this is a very good choice amongst bistro in the Mount Eden/Newmarket area .
Lovely little small place, not much parking but that is the usual in the city. . Very prompt service, cheery lady taking my order - and filling up water when needed.
Big breakfast was a good price, and on point with great taste. . Definitely will look to go here again 😃
Our family had a lovely big breakfast here. We really enjoyed our meals. Big breakfast for me and my husband, waffles and hot chocolate for the kids. Recommend both. Hard to find parking.
The service was friendly and excellent. It was very quiet when we reached there. Ambience was good too. However, the Korean BBQ chicken rice was too salty. The rest were all quite good - pork rib, chicken wings, and steak.

Came here to try. We had the pork ribs starters, then the duck with risotto, steak with duck fat chips and dessert was sticky date with vanilla ice cream.
Overall everything was done well, the ribs was tender and nice flavour. The duck was ok, risotto was creamy. The steak was nicely charred and tender, the chips lack a bit of crisp. I quite enjoyed the sticky date and goes especially well with the ice cream. Definitely decently cooked food here, service was exceptional and their cleanliness is quite good also.
Second visit. We tried the bibimbap which was actually very decent. It was more like a fusion type than the traditional one, the rice came slightly crispy and the grilled chicken breast was yum. Portion was big, one thing I feel could make the taste better is the add of fresh kimchi and yellow radish. Their iced coffee was pretty good too.
One thing I want to add is that the service in this place is very good and there was this young boy who works there, he is very hard working and probably the most hardworking waiter I've ever seen.
Arrived before 9am and staff were still setting up dining area and taking tables out, went on a grab one breakfast deal for 3 people, was not dissapointed when the food arrived, only thing was we ordered 2 fried eggs and one poached with our big breakfast but received 2 poached and 1 fried....i still ate my poached egg though as couldnt be bothered waiting. Ice choc tasted like it was watered down.....The service was great, nice atmosphere on a quiet street. Would love to come back for happy hour soon.

Good first impressions. I like the decor to this cafe. We got great service from the waitress who recommended us breakfast with a Korean twist which tasted amazing and had a good kick to it.
I'll be back again to taste things from there lunch menu.
Brilliant food and the service is fantastic. Lovely modern place to come for breakfast. Child friendly, although a couple of children came and they couldn't use a high chair as we had it. Incredibly affordable too! Thank you for being incredibly welcoming. Will come again!
Good quality food, variety of tastes. The beverage menu has several options of good quality wines, beers and drinks.
The atmosphere is bubbly, staff is friendly.
