Just had the most amazing lamb roast at Ambrosia. Tender generous portion of lamb, just the right amount of veges and the most incredible gravy I've ever tasted! It was the Sunday special and it comes with a drink, and at $22.50 was phenomenal value! There was also a variety of cakes and desserts that we tried and they too were very yummy. Will definitely be going back soon to try some other items from the menu.
I recently dined at Ambrosia and I must say, it was an absolutely fantastic experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm welcome from the friendly staff. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, with soft lighting and comfortable seating.
The menu offered a great variety of dishes, all of which sounded amazing. I decided to try the Prime Eye Fillet and it did not disappoint. The flavors were perfectly balanced and each bite was a delight.
Throughout our meal, the service was exceptional. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable, making great recommendations and ensuring that we had everything we needed.
To top it all off, the dessert was simply divine. It was the perfect way to end our meal.
Overall, I had a truly wonderful experience at Ambrosia. The food, service, and atmosphere were all top-notch. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience.
Today was the second time visit Ambrosia since last time we had a great time there. We always visited the old Thai chef in the same spot. The new restaurant Ambrosia continued the tasty food…Both time ordered the meat lover plate and ciabatta bread dips. It was tasty and big portion. Especially love the oil sauce on the bread, so unique!! The wine was nice too. Also, fairly reasonable price to make you really satisfied and happy in expensive Auckland! Another amazing thing about them, it’s they open the whole day time!!! When you are looking for restaurant around 3:30pm, Ambrosia is always there for you.
First experience, loved it! Ordered the seafood platter for two & buffalo wings, was very filling.
Service was awesome, seated outside was a very nice sunny day but a cold breeze so the view was perfect with rollers down. Thank you and will definitely be back again 😀
My first experience dining at Ambrosia was very elegant and different it had a wonderful decor the food was average overall the baby potatoes could have been better but everything else was excellent
Wow! So glad I rediscovered this place. It used to be a different restaurant but sooo much better now. Amazing meals for lunch or dinner, beautifully presented and lovely staff. I had the Prawn Malabari with good, meaty prawns in a delicious sauce. Everyone else at my table was highly impressed with their meals and drinks.
Fantastic food, delicious cocktails, service with a smile… what more could you want! I have been here in the past when it was other restaurants and was very disappointed but Ambrosia is amazing. They have a huge variety on the menu and everything we tried was exquisite. Fresh seafood, cooked perfectly and presented amazingly. Would dine there every day if I could afford it!

I have had lunch there twice recently. Their menu is extensive, the dishes we chose were perfectly prepared and cooked and were delicious, the prices very reasonable (we chose some seafood dishes and the ribs), service excellent and their coffee great (I'm fussy). I highly recommend this restaurant. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed.
