It was a pleasure to have a Stonegrill lunch here. The service was friendly and prompt. The steaks were generous and beautiful. It is great to be able to cook the meat just how you like. The salad was fresh and well dressed. It was a lovely day to be out in the fresh air of the outdoor seating and a great view.
What an asset to the community! We visited for dinner and the food was great! Service was prompt, the food came out quickly. Simple, no frills food and an atmosphere similar to the kind of club you'd find in Australia - not many of these in New Zealand! If we were local we would definitely consider joining.
A great place to hold your function. The Taylor room was excellent for our conference dinner. Simple but well cooked meal and nice dessert. Staff were professional, friendly and accommodating.
Went there for a beer with my mate , stayed for dinner Sunday Roast $20 .
There was about 30 of us and the meals came out in good time. The roast had been sitting gor a while and there wasn't many fresh veges
Overall a friendly, place, great surroundings. Will go there again.
Amazing service and food yesterday! We booked a table for 11-6 of those people were in wheelchairs. Nothing was a problem at all, food was delicious, and the young lady serving us went above and beyond to make us all feel really welcome. Can't wait to come back.
Great club. Huge meals and reasonably priced.
Had the Chicken Schnitzel, it was lovely and quite a big serving of chips. It's a good place for the whole family, there is lots of games and entertainment to keep the kids busy while you enjoy a drink with friends. Looks like an excellent place to catch a rugby game with the big screen they have. There is even some fun to have on pokie's when you are feeling lucky.
Roast of the day meals were very good, but my shrimp cocktail was pretty awful, frozen watery shrimps on lettuce with a tiny amount of dressing, I couldn't eat it. Coffees were extremely good đź‘Ť
It’s not fancy cuisine and they’re not pushing gastronomic boundaries here. But what they are doing is providing good sized meals, fresh and tasty and absolutely value for money. Couldn’t finish the chicken supreme but I really tried, the mushroom sauce was fantastic. Ribs were a real plateful, took half of them home in a doggy bag. Mussels were tasty and again, plenty of them. Good selection of drinks. Facilities are clean, nice atmosphere and friendly, helpful staff. All in all a very satisfied (and full) group.
