We were celebrating finishing the Queen Charlotte Track and Frank's was the perfect place to do this. Great wine and delicious seafood. Professional service from all staff. Good wine list. We thoroughly enjoyed our night.
I honestly can't express enough how great it is to come here. The wait staff are so enthusiastic about the restaurant, which shows in their service. I don't normally know what to pick at these sorts of places, but our waiter was able to give a great recommendation based on what we usually eat. The menu is simple, and lists out each ingredient, and yet the chefs put a great spin on the food, which blew out minds with the creativity.
We had a little bit of everything. My favourite being the steak, which was cooked to absolute perfection, and the panna cotta, which was perfectly light for such a fulfilling meal. If you're on a budget, I would still recommend this place, The entrees are just as fulfilling and satisfying as any other $20 meal, yet it's a far more unique and exciting experience. Couple that with the lively atmosphere, the smiling staff and the chefs in the back that you can watch create art in food.
My only suggestion would be live music. I think that'd be great to add.
Only came in for a glass of wine so can't comment on the food but the wine list was seriously impressive.
Another fantastic night and graze within your absolutely scrumptious environment! Our waitress was incredible too! She really was delightful in learning it was our wedding anniversary and serving us accordingly! We were totally impressed once again. So, Thankyou!
What a great place! We chose a somewhat eclectic mix of dishes from the menu and ate them pretty much tapas style. They were all hits. I was a little skeptical of a 20 odd dollar Brussel sprout dish but it was amazingly good - a real standout in a number of excellent dishes. Good portion sizes and flavours that made you want to order more. It's fair to say we ate far too much and are really looking forward to going back to try some more of the food.
Thank goodness this restaurant has opened in Blenhheim. The food was superb especially the clams in xo sauce, the raw fish was fresh, potatoes crispy and jerk chicken flavoursome and juicey. The young staff were attentive, smiling and on to it. The cocktaiks looked professional as well.
Keep doing what you're doing. We will be back next time when we visit blenheim and we will book as we were fortunate to get a table just as a walk in.
Great quick dinner. Got to sample a few wines before buying a couple glasses. Oyster and clams really fresh. Clam dish with XO sauce and herbs was simple easy and delicious.
I went here for dinner with some friends. The tables were booked out but the staff made an effort to find us a spot. We got the "Frank Eats"(highly recommended) which is made up of items chosen by the chef. We enjoyed every item thoroughly. Everything was cooked to perfection. The ingredients were great quality and the seasonings/sauces were excellently balanced. My absolute favorite was the jerk chicken but everything was delicious! We all left full and smiling.
They had a great selection of drinks. We had wine and bubbles, all of which were quality.
The service was great. I was impressed by how calm and professional the staff were despite having a big dinner rush.
The only thing that could be better about Frank's is if it was located next to my house!

Had a lovely dinner on a very busy Tuesday night. Excellent oysters and steak. Short but enjoyable wine list. Warm and attentive service. Buzzy vibe with loads of people having a good time. Would go back when visiting Blenheim again.
Absolutely outstanding food and service, the set menu option was amazing, fantastic for a group.
