I love everything that comes from this place. My fav is the beef croquettes Oh and the custard squares, danishs, opera, lemon cake, blue cheese and walnut rolls.....actually it's all so darn tasty it's too hard to choose the best thing!!

The Clareville Bakery is a very, very dangerous place. Dangerous to your hips and thighs, and most especially so because everything tastes so good and fresh. Their cronuts are to die for. Their custard squares? Where do I start? My kids will clean their rooms and rake the lawns for these. And the bread...go early on a Saturday morning to get crusty loaves fresh from the oven...so warm the butter melts on it... Mmmm....

Very lovely Bakery conveniently by the main road. Nice, warm and cozy indoor area. Great variety of choices - the famous Croissants, tarts, doughnuts, bread and much more. Indeed the Award Winning Croissants live up to their name 🥐🥳

Big selection of freshly baked goods, breads, donuts and pies. I got the Jalapeño steak pie which had the right amount of spice from the Jalapeños and big chunks of beef, and i also got the crème brûlée donut was creamy and delicious with a nice crunch from the top. The atmosphere was great, they had indoor and outdoor seating which was nice. Would definitely stop here again on my way to masterton

Mastery of flour and magic, excellent bakery you feel like getting everything in offer. Stop by if travelling via SH2 and it will be worthwhile.

They make AMAZING pastries and pies here. I tried the Matariki boil-up pie and it was delicious. The Mikeronuts are one of my top repeat purchases - they're sooo good!

Fantastic bakery. Stopped in here for brunch having viewed the menu on line. We're disappointed to find the only available food, albeit fantastic, that was available was cabinet food. I had a ham and cheese croissant and my husband had the bacon and egg roll. We both had a coffee which was well made and tasted great. I purchased two cronuts as takeaway as this is one of the few places that makes these. The offerings are of excellent quality. Access has a large parking area and handy ramp for buggies and wheelchairs. Bathrooms also have access for wheelchairs. A very popular venue.

This bakery is making an awesome bread/desserts. 👌 everything is so yummy, its just you have to wait because of the long queue, but its worth it, we will come back again. Kids enjoyed a lot.

Amazing bakery with such a delicious spread I wish I could try everything! I can attest that what I did have was delicious which included a creamy chicken and salad bun, ham and cheese croissants, sausage rolls, and mini cronuts. The full sized cronuts also looked amazing. They also had lots of local products for sale like jams and cookies etc. I saw a sign for a kids area but didn't check it out as we were buying food to takeaway, but it looked child friendly - plenty of seating and noisy enough to not feel bad if your kids are loud 😆 Will have to get some snaps of the kids area next time we visit! ❤

So many times I've driven past Clareville Bakery, until yesterday when my new friend treated me to a coffee and piece of cake for a birthday treat. It's a classy place and obviously very popular, prices well above average. I'm used to your average rustic sandwich bar where a piece of cake costs $4 to $5. The cheapest I saw here was $7.20. The cake I chose was sponge topped with a rich silky citrus creme artfully releasing a big hit of endorphins; yes, this baker has mastered the art of addiction. I don't want to make Clareville Bakery a habit. It's more heart attack territory than health food store. Thanks.

The highlight of my week whilst working in the Wairarapa. Vibrant bakery/caffee with a peacful outside seating area. Plenty of chairs and umbrellas. A small playground. A great spot for reading. Great pie and lots of colorful pastery to choose from.
