Monday night school holidays and very busy with limited seating. Told a 30 minute wait which was OK but they did take longer.
Sadly, pizza was burnt on crust and bottom which was very disappointing. Love the crust and couldn't eat it.

The crust was a delightful blend of crunchy and chewy, creating a unique texture that I had never encountered before. The Sir George pizza was a true winner, with just the right amount of saltiness, and a perfect balance of tender pulled meat, flavorful bacon, and savory sauce. Even after delivery, the pizza arrived quickly enough to maintain its warmth, adding to the overall enjoyment of this fabulous pizza

One of the best pizzas I ever ate.
And although there were many people I only had to wait not longer then 10 minutes for my pizza. Excellent.
It was really delicious.
And for them it was also no problem to change the topping of my pizza.
Very good service.
I would come again for a pizza.

Decent pizza and loaded fries!
My wife and I went for a large margherita and loaded brisket fries which were very decent.
I've had better pizzas for the price/size and taste, so only gave 4-star.
Brisket fries on the other hand were VERY GOOD.

Their pasta is good and the mac and cheese bites are to die for!! Absolutely my comfort food. The place can be busy during rush hour but for lunch it ain't too bad. Highly recommended!

I think I have found my new favourite meal in Christchurch - brisket loaded fries from Base Pizza and at only $15 they're a bargain - huge huge huge portion! My partner and I shared a pizza with the loaded fries and were both terribly full afterwards. Little High is an amazing place to get food and it's no surprise it's always busy!

Probably the best pizza I've ever tasted before. 10/10 would eat entire pizza alone and not feel shame. The fresh ingredients, the flavor combinations, the artistry.. remembering taking a bite, savoring each time my teeth crushed down and released flavors into my mouth, and the warm finishing swallow into my belly. Definitely the kind of pizza I would take home at the end of the night.

Great pizza. Good vegan option. Very delicious paprika and vegan pepperoni flavour. Good base not soggy and nice crisp. Small on was a good size meal while leaving space for some desert.

This is some choice pizza! Tastes really fresh and a fun environment (albeit a bit crowded). Good quantity for price too. Highly recommend and there are a variety of other options in this same space if you like choices. But you certainly canโt go wrong with this pizza! ๐ ๐

Can't say enough good things about BASE woodfire pizza. Where to start.. the flavours that woodfired pizza offers compared to oven pizza is delicious. The combination of toppings are so good, vegetarian friendly. Has a flavour for everyone. The milkshakes are worth it, try one!! Trust me.
