Great spot for catch up, located in city centre but away from hustle and bustle, very cozy! The cafe is nicely decorated with Art Deco touch. Sitting here you can relax don’t need to rush finishing your coffee and food. Food portion is surprisingly large and beautifully presented. Highly recommended!

Great quirky spot. Went to some of the other nearby coffee spots, but gave up after waiting way too long. This place has awesome, friendly, quick service and a great atmosphere. Smaller range of cabinet food, but good breakfast menu. Really good prices with $4.80 for a medium flat white (other places will be over $5.50 or even $6). Good coffee also 😀

Popped in with my son this morning with the intention of coffee and maybe a slice from the cabinet but ended up ordering from the menu and am I glad we did. My chicken and waffle was quite honestly the best thing I've ever ordered! So so tasty! The berry Pancakes looked spectacular too and our hot drinks were great. The vibe of the place is awesome. Definitely highly recommend, we will be back soon!!

Lovely place to spend an afternoon with friends. Service is very good. Food is tasty too. The best thing is coffee as other cafes may not be able to make large coffee as good as regular size coffee, but Lemon Tree can.

Went to Lemon Tree for a birthday brunch today and it's a 11/10! The food was so incredible, really beautiful presentation and very filling. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. Thanks so much for taking care of us and making our afternoon a memory we can't forget.

Lemon Tree is one of my favourite places in Christchurch to go for a coffee and some brunch. Everything is so well priced and the atmosphere is really comfy and warm. The food is amazing and the drinks are just as good :) Highly recommend.

Beautifully arranged meals 💫
The elderflower lemon pancakes were fluffy and flavour packed. Topped with grilled banana, maple syrup, berry compote, fresh fruit and whipped cream. And a thick piece of chocolate for extra bliss!
The french toast was in no way inferior to the pancakes!

Lovely place, very interesting decor, felt very at home. Food looked amazing and did not disappoint taste wise either. Staff very friendly and helpful and we did not have to wait long at all for our food. Highly recommend.

gave me the complete wrong order but i am filled with anxiety so didnt point it out - it was alright just not what i ordered. staff were so friendly though so im sure if i did say something they would have fixed it, i was just on a time crunch. coffee was delicious and i love the vibes as its always nice and quiet despite being in central city

The best breakfast in town. Their Chicken n waffle, the coffee, salmon benedict is one of the best in town! We love the decor too, it feels like home, big space as well. we will come back for sure.

One of Best Coffe shops you could enjoy your break time in Christchurch. Perfect atmosphere, Lovely interior design, Friendly staff and fantastic decorations dishes. Couldn't really expect this much high quality dishes! It's a bit weird to say but if you order more than 2 dishes, I recommend you to have some water before you try another one. Don't spoil the taste yourself.

Best chicken and waffles I've had in chch. The sauce/syrup was spicy and tangy and is the first place I've visited that uses Liege waffles! Would recommend.
Pancakes were also good and had a hint of lemon flavour with plenty of fruits on the side.

Staff here are incredibly friendly and great their regular customers very kindly and make the effort to get to know their customers. The cafe also has very nice decor and a great selection of well priced cabinet and menu foods and if you're lucky you can expect a cool coffee art design with your coffee

This cafe is reasonably priced, the food comes out quickly and tastes delicious. The decor is unique and has a homey feel. The only downside is that the gluten free options are very limited. Only the slices are labelled as gluten free. Definitely a favourite!

Welcoming, sunny and very beautiful cafe. Flowers in front of shop make it different from any other. Gardeners will love this cafe. <br/>Food was different not a big selection but very tasteful. We returned a second time in a week and was not disappointed. My husband said the bathroom was a destination in its self.

The lemon tree cafe provides a lovely relaxing environment- the decor of the cafe is very quirky and cute- love all of the plants! The menu is a very reasonable price- had the eggs benedict with bacon which came out quickly looking beautiful and tasted amazing! Eggs cooked to perfection and a really yummy holindaise sauce. The only i thing i would change is to sqap the english muffins for nice thick toast! Coffee is amazing!! The ladies running the cafe provide wonderful service and a very welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere! Highly reccommend.
