Staff here are incredibly friendly and great their regular customers very kindly and make the effort to get to know their customers. The cafe also has very nice decor and a great selection of well priced cabinet and menu foods and if you're lucky you can expect a cool coffee art design with your coffee
A nice little quiet cafe I discovered on a walk - with lots of pretty knickknacks decorating the interior. Friendly staff and nice coffees - good place to catch up with friends as it's not too loud.
We have only been here once and at first i was surprise with their decor- its different and creative.
We ordered pancakes and eggs benedict and i must say it was just amazing! Wouldnt mind going back.
I love this place, it is such a beautiful cafe and has a very relaxing vibe to it. The decor was also absolutely beautiful, the food was exceptional and affordable.
This cafe is reasonably priced, the food comes out quickly and tastes delicious. The decor is unique and has a homey feel. The only downside is that the gluten free options are very limited. Only the slices are labelled as gluten free. Definitely a favourite!
Great spot for catch up, located in city centre but away from hustle and bustle, very cozy! The cafe is nicely decorated with Art Deco touch. Sitting here you can relax don’t need to rush finishing your coffee and food. Food portion is surprisingly large and beautifully presented. Highly recommended!
Great quirky spot. Went to some of the other nearby coffee spots, but gave up after waiting way too long. This place has awesome, friendly, quick service and a great atmosphere. Smaller range of cabinet food, but good breakfast menu. Really good prices with $4.80 for a medium flat white (other places will be over $5.50 or even $6). Good coffee also 😀
Popped in with my son this morning with the intention of coffee and maybe a slice from the cabinet but ended up ordering from the menu and am I glad we did. My chicken and waffle was quite honestly the best thing I've ever ordered! So so tasty! The berry Pancakes looked spectacular too and our hot drinks were great. The vibe of the place is awesome. Definitely highly recommend, we will be back soon!!
Lovely place to spend an afternoon with friends. Service is very good. Food is tasty too. The best thing is coffee as other cafes may not be able to make large coffee as good as regular size coffee, but Lemon Tree can.
Went to Lemon Tree for a birthday brunch today and it's a 11/10! The food was so incredible, really beautiful presentation and very filling. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. Thanks so much for taking care of us and making our afternoon a memory we can't forget.

Lemon Tree is one of my favourite places in Christchurch to go for a coffee and some brunch. Everything is so well priced and the atmosphere is really comfy and warm. The food is amazing and the drinks are just as good :) Highly recommend.
They have the stunning best avocado toast ever😍 you must try!! The French toast was good too! Best breakfast in Christchurch 🤲

The elderflower lemon pancakes were fluffy and flavour packed. Topped with grilled banana, maple syrup, berry compote, fresh fruit and whipped cream. And a thick piece of chocolate for extra bliss!
The french toast was in no way inferior to the pancakes!

Lovely place, very interesting decor, felt very at home. Food looked amazing and did not disappoint taste wise either. Staff very friendly and helpful and we did not have to wait long at all for our food. Highly recommend.
