Got married at Hinton Estate yesterday. Smallish group of arond 25 which the staff handled well. The grounds are small but very photogenic. The food was very good and appealed to a wide range of tastes. The beef dish in particular was fantastically tender. The staff were helpful and very easy going and helped make our big day a special one. All in attendance were impressed with the grounds, the food and the service. Hugely recommended for smaller wedding ceremonies and receptions. Thanks Team Hinton :)

I had the chicken salad and raspberry parfait, they were delicious and presented in an excellent way! There was an accident with a glass of ginger beer spilling but they sorted that quickly and professionally and gave a free drink too

A nice lunch out in a lovely setting with good wine. Even a tasting tray of wine to try some before you order. I would definitely recommend this for a weekend lunch out!

This place is a perfect getaway 15min from the city centre! Delicious food, beautiful setting and the owners are lovely! Definitely recommend for both lunch/dinner or functions.

Went to Hintons for my company Christmas party. The buffet style food was very average and very disappointing. It was also a murder mystery themed evening with two male actors performing and interacting with the diners. I was shocked at the "below the belt" and filthy content. Obviously it was "R-rated" and many people were shocked. Sadly this was not mentioned in the company invitations. Obviously this sort of thing is not for everyone.

Have been here a few times. Once for mothers day. Was a long wait for food that then came out cold. Coffee is nothing special. Have also been to a work buffet meal. The food was very average for the description on the set menu. Too much meat all on the dry overcooked side. Not enough garlic bread for a slice each which makes it hard when out with work mates to eat something when you take the last bit. Not enough salad for the rest of the meal being meat. Worst pudding ever. A 3 teir stand of dessert was put on each table with the smallest bite size peices ever. They also did not have one of each for each person so some where left without. They may need to learn how to count. Disappointing

went to hintons the morning after my sisters wedding. the service was ok except for one of the waitreses limiting the amount of buffet food we were allowed to take. and for 24 dollars this was pretty poor.. my sister ended up having to pay for people that did not turn up and my brother had to pay for 3 people that could not make it as they go on numbers that u said were goin to come not the numbers that actually showed up. i would not go bak as for the amount of money the food was pretty poor

Went in on Mothers day with a large group of friends. Service was excellent our waitress Jo made the effort to learn our names & managed to get our names correct every time (there was 16 of us). Meals came out quickly and were very tasty, especially the dessert (warm ginger pudding with a butterscotch sauce & ice-cream). Wines were very nice as well & our waitress was great making recommendation's as to which wine would go with our meals. All in all a very good experience and we will all defiantly be going back. :)

What a find! This place is just lovely - grape vines, beautiful gardens and restaurant in an old villa. We had a very loooong and enjoyable lunch thanks to the superb food and wine, but also to the very friendly staff (cheers Jo). We will return again soon and highly recommend
