I met with Nisha here, such made us really awesome coffee, me and my friends we liked this place. If you are thinking to see someone on Colombo st. This is one of the best places around this area. 😎😀👍

😊That’s a really wonderful experience for me and my friend, because is our first time try this shop and is really nice both for the food and staff there. Very nice service, many thanks to Shawqi, the chef at this coffee shop who provide food for me💕 they are awesome!!! The staff there all very friendly and gentle. Nice place to enjoy the day sitting and relaxing 😌.

We were fortunate that that stupid place Hello Sunday Cafe takes bookings on a Tuesday work day at 1030am would you believe to be able to enjoy the lovely relaxed Underground Coffee Roasters for breakfast. They were very accommodating, good food and great service. Recommended.

We first came here when they had a coffee and scone deal and now it is our favourite cafe to go to when in town. The coffee is great, nice and hot as requested and the blueberry muffins are awesome! I also like the date scones but am not keen on them being warmed up in the toastie maker which toasts them and makes them crunchy - would far prefer they were unsliced and just popped in the microwave oven for half a minute.

From the moment we entered this cafe we knew our time here would be a 10/10.
19 minutes until close, and a stupidly annoying coffee order (soy cap 2 sugars choc on top), the gentleman working was incredibly generous in his service to us, so friendly and the cafe was so clean.
COFFEE WAS ABSOLUTELY SUPERB!
Mate if I am ever in Christchurch again (probably never) we will be back to see your smile and drink your coffee.

It's a highlight on my Sunday morning. The service at the little site beside the former Spotlight premises is always friendly with a personal touch.

A trendy cafe within The Colombo but away from the typical mall noise. Modern branding and layout, with good solid wooden bench tables as well as more typical tables and seating (but as far as I can tell, no child seats). The coffee and food is good and the service friendly enough, but on the occasion I visited my re-heated chicken pie was forgotten and (I'm guessing) left out in the cold for a while before being served to me. This was while it was very quiet and the staff members were mostly just chatting to each other. It was only slightly warm, cold in the middle, and pretty dry. Pretty average for $8.50.
Otherwise, the coffee was good and reasonably priced and the rest of the food looks great and I'm sure this was a one-off. It certainly wouldn't stop me from going back again and this remains one of the better cafes in the area.

Great coffee and a good companion. There was almond milk which was good. The girl working there was really knowledgeable and had a great chat too. A good relationship has developed with him.

Actually, I went to buy two coffees for me and my friend in the busy hours , so by mistake staff could not place my order timely , therefore I asked for manager and manager gave us free coffees and two free coffee vouchers too . We were impressed, Then after , this is our regular spot for coffee and their customer services is exceptional. I would recommend underground coffee roasters to all my friends and families .
