Review Passengers And Co - Christchurch

We were there on Valentine's Day. What a cool spot to take your loved ones here for coffee and meals. I was only free briefly between my morning and afternoon shifts. Food was quick and fantastic. The service staff were smiley and accommodating. We will return here for sure.

Food always looks great here. New menu published for 2023. Had the fish and chips which was good (my husband would have liked it crunchier). There are about 5 things each on both the brunch and lunch menu and lots in the cabinet. Provides both indoor and outdoor seating. Special tasting menus / features cuisines are also offered at various times in the year.

Great food & service would be 5 star but they put mine in a bowl which is not always the best option to cut thick crunchy bread out of

A lovely lunch spot. The menu and cabinet food were impressive coving most bases for foodies. The chef was able to be flexible for the allergies in our group. The wait staff were friendly and efficient. Quiet enough to chat with your group.

Went there for breakfast. Ordered an Americano and the Big Breakfast. The staff were friendly and provided good service. The coffee was pretty good and the big breakfast was possibly the best I've ever had. Possibly. The potatoes especially. The chef did forget to put the sausages on the plate, but he brought them out to me before I even noticed. So that was of no consequence, except that the photo I took shows no sausages. But yeah, would recommend

I found myself whinging to a friend yesterday about the lack of non generic, chain store, type food available around work (Dakota Park) and she suggested I call in here! The food was exceptional 👌 I’m fussy. Very, very fussy! But I was so relieved to have found this cafe. 99% of the staff were friendly, accomodating, considerate and loved their jobs. The food came out much quicker than expected! My manager was surprised to see me back in the office so quickly during a lunch break so you also get a 10/10 from him too 😂 You guys are my new go-to fave during my work days!

Warm and inviting. We had breakfast which was delicious 🙂flavours were simply delightful, each bite better than the last. I had the avo stack and the polenta a nice touch👍best avo stack ever.My friends had the Big Breakfast which didn't disappoint, Try the sweet trumpet its to die for. If you want a breakfast that's a little bit different than your average brekkie I highly recommend Passangers & Co

Went there for breakfast because of its reputation. Very comfortable table and seats with good ambiance and a great interior with cheerful colour combination. The food was good, but just good, not superb as expected. Sometimes great expectation comes with some degree of disappointment.

Over priced lunch menu, very basic meal which could be made at home. Seating not comfortable, large tables to share with strangers is not my cup of tea. I hope the $110 dinner menu offers more

We tried Passengers and Co not knowing what to expect and we loved it.
The European dining experience was delightful - not knowing what the enext dish would be was next was exciting and every course was amazing. Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff, great concept and excellent food... what more could you ask for in a dining experience?

called in after work about a month ago... no bar snacks and wine very very expensive. Also only one person on the bar and waited for quite a while to be served...

Wow! What a great place! First of all, there was no menu. We were surprised by the chef (Jamie) with a special four-course meal that was served to every diner that night. I loved the concept! :-) His creations were inventive, delicious, and visually appealing.

Every dish was personally described/explained to us by a charming member of staff. The first entree was groper (SUPERB!) ; the second contained tender chunks of lamb; and, the main course was venison. That was followed by a lovely lemon dessert with gelato.

Presentation and taste were amazing. It's a shame that the main course, venison, was served lukewarm, rather than hot, but that's my only quibble. Due to the large number of guests, the waitstaff were probably delayed in picking up our dishes and bringing them to our table.

You have to wait a long time between courses. It took more than 2 1/2 hours for a four course meal, with no time wasted selecting items since there was no menu.

The restaurant is beautifully designed with striking green angular arcs at the entrance. Inside boasts terrific interior design; well-appointed with fresh modern colors and clean lines.

We were lucky to arrive early and snap up a table for two by the window. People who arrived later had to share the long tables which seemed perfect for groups but not for couples. We like to have space for private conversations so we were glad to have a table for two.

Service was friendly, attentive, and pleasant. We especially enjoyed being served by a young English lad who was fantastically friendly and charming and made the BEST flat whites!

Gorgeous place! We will definitely return! And I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants a gorgeous dining experience and has the time to enjoy it.

My partner & I decided to dine at Passengers & Co on Valentines Day after hearing a good review from a friend.

We booked in a week in advance to secure a seat yet when we arrived we were asked if we minded being seated beside the door on tall bar stools.. We disapproved & were eventually seated at a very small table only centimetres away from other tables each side so our neighbours could hear every word of our conversation..

After being seated we were told the 5 course meal they usually serve would not be available, we were then left to sit there wondering what we were going to be served, we were not asked if we had any food allergies & we weren't asked if we would like a drink.

The couple at the table beside us were seated about 10mins after us yet they received their meals well before us. We had to wait over an hour before we even received an on-tray! We never received an apology from the staff & they seemed to be trying to avoid us all night.

We will not be returning due to the lack of service & crammed seating, not a good atmosphere at all.
