Wow wow wow! The "bottomless brunch" is a staple here. You are invited into a beautiful classy restaurant with wonderful views of Christchurch and a glass of bubbles. The service was immaculate and the drinks were constantly topped up! The food was presented beautifully but the dish I had definitely lacked flavour - it needed more sauce! The desserts were STUNNING, they tasted fabulous!! I highly recommend the desserts here and I would try another one of their dishes next time opposed to the pasta dish I ordered. Will come again.

Came here on Sunday night with my wife and had the best experience! 🤩 The service was excellent and the food came out super fast! We had Brisket croquettes and mushrooms croquettes for our starters. For our mains we enjoyed the market fish (Gurnard) and the pork belly - all delicious meals 😍 Thanks to the Botanic team!

Long lunch. Beautiful food! Just a shame that it's limited to 2 hours, but really enjoyable. Shout out to the young waiter who was actively managing the table of young farmers boys and townie girls who were trying to scull their bubbles. No one wants to see a train wreck while they're enjoying their leisurely lunch! Although 1 young lady slipped under the radar at another table and fell on her face for her efforts. Classy.

This was our first dinner at Botanic, and we're already planning our return! Fantastic and friendly service, sophisticated setting where you can actually have a conversation and be heard, and delicious well-presented food. Definitely recommend.

22nd Birthday Venue here, great food and atmosphere. Service lacked and wasn’t great, the other complaint was that you couldn’t order cocktails or any other drinks during your “time” with the bottle. The main and dessert were absolutely outstanding, and overall was delicious! Also for what you paid, only a small portion of the starter was a disappointing.

Surprised this place isn't close to a 5 star? Dined here with a couple of the girls and the food was really good. We enjoyed all our meals and our cocktails. Food was presented beautifully and the view over Ōtakaro(Avon River)was really nice esp when last night sun was beaming, the weather was just right so that helps😁 Atmosphere was my kinda vibe, just really chill. Customer Service was friendly and Bar and Restaurant itself is really nice, clean and tidy. Food and experience was great. We will definitely be back😊

I've been here a couple times now for their Lavish Lunch, and so far have not been disappointed! I paid $65 which involved an entree platter, main, dessert and bottomless mimosas for a 2 hour time slot. I ordered beef cheek for the main and it fell apart beautifully - it was so tender and tasty! For dessert I got a chocolate one (sorry the name slips my mind) but oh God it was so good! creamy, super chocolatey with some delicious caramel and cream on the side which really added to the flavor. The drinks were superb and I felt overall this was great value for money. Would highly recommend and I look forward to my next visit!

Came in today for "Lavish Lunch". I have to say, it exceeded my expectations. Although we were forgotten about in the beginning, once a lovely staff member noticed this, everything went very smooth from there. The bubbles and juice were great! The platter AMPLE. Next the main. Bouillabaisse for my sister and salmon for me. Absolutely outstanding. Mango sorbet and espresso and chocolate bavarois for me. Perfection. The female staff seemed to be a bit all over the place, but our waiter was exceptional. Thank you for a great lunch for myself and my sister.

Amazing degustation! Found a deal on Facebook for a chef’s tasting for 2, had 5 great courses, great vibe, quiet but with an amazing view of the river. Staff was lovely and helpful, would definitely recommend!

We had an amazing time at the Sunday's Lavish Lunch. The food was delicious and the platter+main+dessert combo with the unlimited drinks was so worth it for the good deal of $65 pp! Will definitely be back! Edit: came back following weekend, Emily and Lucinda are the best!
