Delicious! Nice and spicy, just how I like it 🌶️👌🏽 lots of meat and creamy massaman. Casual, modern decor and tidy environment. Super shiny glasses which is an added bonus for me-shows they care! Hooray Thai garden 😍

Our favorite Thai restaurant, We come here every year on our wedding anniversary & in between.meals are delicious, never disappoint & staff are great. Always over order but take home leftovers & enjoy next day. Give them a go, wont disappoint.

A good meal at a decent priced. Red curry was hotter than expected to the taste but not unpleasant at all. The pork starter is fantastic and drinks I felt were a little pricey, especially the red wine by the glass for the selection provided.

Never ever fail to satisfy us 100%. The efficiency of feeding our large groups (>6 always) always amazes me. Totally happy with fabulous choice and delicious tasty meals being served well within a half hour wait! Always our go to if pre dining before shows or movies as we know we won’t be held up! Thank You again for always completing perfect service, friendliness, variety, cleanliness and most tasteful Thai cuisine.🌟

Lovely friendly service, we didn't have a booking it was a busy Friday night and they accommodated us no worries, food was really good, can recommend the squid entree and panang curry all four of us enjoyed our meal.

I had a great time last week at this place, apon reading the reviews I did wonder about going there but thought I'd give it a chance and I was very impressed with the service who came right away, got seated fast, drinks, dinner ordered which came quick, no plates left empty after finishing for very long and the food was delicious without a huge price tag! I will be going back absolutely and I thanked them on the night as well for the above

The food is very good and is not spice if you order mild. The price is good and the staff is quick. In 30 minutes I had finished my lunch. I high recommend!

Ok so thought I’d try Thai Garden tonight for takeaways. When I got into the restaurant i was impressed with the feel and the waiter taking my order recommended all the dishes . I had beef rendang got my wife padthai, a couple of spring rolls as starters and our kids had stir fry noodles. Every dish was exceptional . Like when I say exceptional I mean I cannot even give any criticism. I might even use perfect. Chef is top shelf and we’re so impressed . Thank you for delivering a great experience and I hope more people find this Gem of a Thai Restaurant . We will be back. Great service exceptional food.

Great place with a great atmosphere. Lovely staff and mostly tasty food. There is lots of parking around. It’s better to pre-book a table on special and festive occasion as it’s gets full. Definitely will go here again.

The Vietnamese Fried fish was amazing, has overtaken the Garlic Prik Thai to become my new favourite meal here. Definitely recommend this restaurant for great food & lovely atmosphere.

It's not an authentic Thai restaurant if that's what you are looking for, it's more western style Thai food (most of the staff and customers are Caucasian) but I found the food quite tasty (in a western way). we had sizzling garlic prawn (it's more like black pepper stir fry), stir fry pork belly with chilli & basil, and chef's curry. The curry was not very good (doesn't have much curry flavour) but the prawn and pork belly were quite good (but very salty). The Mango Lasi was good too.

I love this place! They serve such great food and the customer service is amazing too. I only got my dish as a takeaway but am very interested in doing a dine in as the ambience is beautiful 😊

Thumping Loud........The food was lovely and the service good, but the night out was spoilt by the loud thumping disco type music.  Not the calm Thai experience usually enjoyed at Thai restaurants.

The chicken was very old and stringy ., I couldn't differentiate between the chicken or the skewer , both had the same texture .Way too much peanut sauce which was too thick and gluggy and spiceless . The chilli sauce tasted like it was from a jar and the pork balls were quite fatty. Wasn't impressed .

8 of us dined here tonight. Wow what a meal, taste sensation in every dish. Portion size is very generous. We will definitely be back to sample some of the other dishes. Well worth a visit.<br/>

After a long day, we decided to get takeout and eat in our cabin in the holiday park. Our previous day's walk we'd noticed Thai Temple and a quick look online definitely sold us on the menu. We placed a phone order and then Mr M strolled down to get our order.<br/>Our order did take longer than expected to be cooked and my husband was a little disappointed that there didn't appear to be any sort of waiting area. The service was pleasant enough and the meals were handed to him piping hot.<br/>The food was of good quality, with both the musuaman curry and the cashew nut stir fry being exactly as expected. The standout item would definitely have been the Guri puffs - light, fluffy and delicious.<br/>If you are staying at the Top 10 Holiday Park in Christchurch, definitely bear Thai Temple in mind if you are wanting a quiet night in or a dining experience not too far from "home".

We have been here with our adult children a number of times over the past year and have enjoyed every meal. We have had various curries - Green, Massaman, Jungle etc as well as stir fry and hot plate meals. The surroundings are good, staff friendly and the food is excellent. We haven't been disappointed yet and will be returning again very soon.

I went with a friend for lunch on a Friday. I ordered a spectacular beef green curry, that was cooked beautifully, with the vegetables at the right crispness, and a gorgeous green curry sauce. My friend ordered the cashew stir fry, and I think I liked it even more than my own meal! Fantastic flavours, and a generous amount of cashews. What I truly remember is their AMAZING loose leaf Earl Grey tea! The best tea I have ever had! One pot did us both about 5 cups each, with a jug of hot water on the side. And each cup was better than the last! Truly wonderful experience, will most certainly be back!

My food literally smelt like cow manure. It has some alright flavours but when I was just sniffing my nose as I had a cold, All I could smell was the smell of the A&amp;P show. The service was acceptable. Was quite shocked when one waitor approached me at my dinner table and asked me where if I was Chinese simply because I am Asian. I am Chinese however, but there was no need for him to try to talk to me in Chinese in what seemed to be and offensive joke. The wine I purchased was below par.

25 of us went to the Thai Temple for my husbands birthday on the 13th June. It was a great success and the staff were helpful and friendly. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. A truly wonderful experience and a big thankyou to Vikram and his team for making it special. Would recommend the Thai Temple for any function. Thankyou so much. Glenys

I had my daughters 21st birthday celebrations at Thai Temple last evening. There were 23 of us and everyone said how fabulous the food was, there was plenty of it , great presentation and fantastic value for money . Even my Dad who is 83 who has never tried anything like this before said he would go back so that is pretty big coming from a meat and 3 vege man!<br/>The staff were very friendly and helpful. A truly wonderful experience. Thank you so much.<br/>Jan

We were there with a large group of people. Great atmosphere, professional service and fantastic food. I would have preferred the food to be more spiced, but that's just me. Given the company at our table, it was suitable for the average Kiwi Middle aged palate. Recommended :-)

I have eaten here several times for lunch and dinner and love it. The sevice is great, and there is hardly any waiting. I find the food is really fresh too, i have ordered several different dishes and they have all been fantastic. <br/>The prices are really affordable and there is a lovely ambience in the evening too.

I have dined many time at the Thai Restaurant in Crandord Street, and each time I have had excellent service and delightful food. I must admit I am a real fan of the Musuman Curry and tend to stick with that but I have tried other dishes and enjoyed them also. The food is always fresh and the vegetables in the dishes are not overdone. I can recommend a visit to this restaurant.
