I purchased a GrabOne voucher and decided to visit this place, and it turned out to be a fantastic experience. The location and service were exceptional, and the restaurant's ambiance was tastefully designed. We started with the Gulati kebab, which were incredibly tender and practically melted in our mouths. The kebabs were served with naan bread, salad, and sauce, creating a delightful combination. For the main course, we tried the Yakkhan chicken, which was rich, creamy, and had a subtle spiciness that paired perfectly with the naans. The chicken in the curry was succulent and had a delightful smoky flavor, adding depth to the dish. We also ordered the lamb shank nihari, which had a tomato-based curry. The lamb was tender and fell off the bone, and the curry complemented the rice beautifully. Overall, it was an outstanding dining experience. The prices were reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food and the prime location.

Lovely high tea, a fun twist on the traditional high tea. Very tasty food and good variety of things to try. Very good service too.. We requested vegetarian food on the booking and that was all organized. We adored the masala tea! Nice modern decor and feel of the restaurant. Would happy return to try the curry next time.

Truly delicious Indian food. Very authentic but spice level is matched as you request. We are British so used to spice - especially Indian spice and we went medium / hot which was really tasty, some warmth but did not overwhelm the sweeter spices or the lamb. Special mention to Dipesh who was running the front of house alone and whilst clearly he was very busy his customer care was perfect. Ok, on a car park is not the best location but it’s close by the riverside and the food more than makes up for it. Highly recommended-and say hi to Dipesh

We were received well and politely, which made us very relaxed. Our drinks and starters came very quickly and It was delicious! We weren't In a rush so we could enjoy our dinner relaxed. The fragrances of the spices was giving of warm relaxing vibes, music was well chosen too. Your manager is well equipped with advice and knowledgeable of his work. We would definitely come back to this restaurant. Best wishes to the future.

Food was good. Cutting 1 star because there was only waiter for whole restaurant which slowed down service

We went there for lunch. Had the butter chicken and the "mamma's curry". Both were good, although the butter chicken wasn't really authentic tasting (still good though!). We asked for spice level medium, but it wasn't spicy at all; so that's something they maybe can work on. The portions were not that big, at least not what we're used to from other Indian restaurants. However, the prices weren't that high on the other hand, so pretty well balanced I would say. They had a lunch special. Rice and naan for the price of one! Service was good. Only one guy in the restaurant, which could easily serve all customers (probably a bit less than half full). Atmosphere is great. Nice little restaurant.

Perfect recipe for an awesome evening… professional welcoming service… ambience to take the days stress away and so clean… and the food just melted in your mouth. Shout out to Frenchie as we had no booking but we were lured in by the smell… they were fully booked which I can see why but had a small window to fit us in…..making us feel welcome. Thank you ❤️ Highly Recommend

We went for high tea. The food was an amazing; sandwich, Indian nibbles, dipping sauces, even 3 types of cake. The masala tea was beautifully spiced and my husband would give his left arm to eat the sandwiches every day.

Discovered this gem by chance while en route to another restaurant. Something about it intrigued us, and it seems we made the right choice. Authentic Indian flavors, excellent service, and an unexpected find.

I am so happy that Two fat Indians has reopened in the city. Hands down my favourite Biryani. A true sight to watch as they open it in front of you. We also tried the stuffed Yorkies for the first time which were an absolute taste sensation for an entree. Definitely recommend coming here.

I have visited this restaurant a few times in Ent X and had some of their curries. Don't remember much but they were good back then. I came again when they opened in this location and had a fish curry and it was really good. Been working here over the last 2 weeks to help with the Xmas & new year period. Had free curries to try. Their lamb saagwala is nice. The butter chicken is really good, not so sweet like others. Their naans are great too. Never tried biryani before but I got given one after my shift and had it for lunch the next day and it was great. The restaurant has only been here for a month and these guys work hard.

A new outlet in busy Riverside precint. Decent set up and cosy booths. Fast and prompt service. The food was really good. The colours, aromas, flavours and textures were all outstanding. We loved the crunchy Yorkshire puddings stuffed with chicken kebabs and delicious chutneys. The biryanis were presented covered with bread dough and it was beautifully done. We loved it heaps. We were in a hurry and didnt have time to dig into curries. Will be back for sure.

Everything was excellent. Kids enjoyed their lamb, rice and naan plates. My husband and I shared the platter. Garlic naan was great. Everything was delicious, fresh, full of flavor. Service was excellent as well. Highly recommend. We'll definitely be back!

Highly recommended! Totally unique versions of traditional Indian comfort food that are deliciously different, yet still unmistakably familiar. We'll be repeat customers until it's time to go home, then we'll cry. This might be some of the best cooking in the world, and I've done a lot of traveling.

My sister and I thoroughly enjoyed the Two Fat Indian's high tea. As I do not have a sweet tooth, I was delighted that two-thirds of the tea was deliciously savoury and the sweet items were small and not too sweet. All food items were very tasty. This high tea was a wonderful experience. The staff were friendly and helpful.
