Very friendly owner. Very generous with portions. Pizza 🍕 was very nice. Coffee delicious. Located at stop18 of the hop on hop off tram. Very cute street.

The cafe food was really good here, fast and friendly service. Eggs Benedict with mushrooms was a good choice.

Great food, nice place, by the tram track, good location for photo, self service bottle of water and glasses (foc), friendly staffs. Four of us really enjoy our lunch there.

Came here yesterday to try it out. I ordered eggs on toast with bacon and my partner ordered a benedict with salmon. We were both pleasantly surprised with our meals! They looked amazing and were absolutely delicious. I would say this is one of the best cafes that i’ve been to in Christchurch and I will definitely be back. The staff were lovely aswell, highly recommend :)

Staff were pleasant and food was what we were expecting. Portions were of a good size and we left happy. No table service which I do understand, but we came in with that expectation so it made it a bit difficult to order with a larger group. Nice upstairs section - perfectly quaint for a nice lunch.

The staff were very friendly and always happy to help! The cheese burger was absolutely delicious. It contained two meat patties which made it even better. The chips were nice and crisp. I got a pot of tea for one for $4.50 and I was able to get 4 cups of tea from it! All in all a great place to eat at!

We agonized over trying to connect to their WiFi. After failing to get get on the internet with an iPhone, a laptop , or an android, we had to just enjoy our coffee and breakfast - which was very well done. I have to say anything beyond the basic “egg on toast” ($12) was a bit pricey for breakfast ($20s) - but I did not check the other shops in the area. The coffee is strong and presentation is good for the cappuccino! There were loads of flies in the restaurant (March 2018) - they should invest in some fly traps - we aren’t in SE Asia mate!

Kind staff. Good service. Tasty food. Only one niggle is a croissant with crispy chicken was too difficult to eat. Too tough to cut. Too hard to hold for a bite because of too much sauce on it.

Had their Angus cheese burger with chips for lunch on a quiet Monday. Portion and quality were both good. Would come back.

An absolute gem of a cafe! The food was divine, the coffee was hot and just perfect, and the staff were incredibly friendly and looked after us so well 😊 Would definitely recommend this Cafe, and we will be coming again! Thank you Stir Cafe!

Ordered fish and chips with a side salad and a BLT. Nice atmosphere with a band playing nearby. Quantity was sufficient and nice and fresh. Standard pricing with prompt and courteous service. Tram passes right beside it as in the picture.

We were looking around the central city for breakfast and stumbled across Cafe Stir, and we were so happy we did. The staff were amazing and happily made little changes to their menu. The eggs bennie was wonderful and beautifully presented. Great service and awesome food.

Cafe Stir was my choice for breakfast this morning. The location is quite convenient and close to the centre of town down a quirky little street where the local tram runs through. The smashed avo with egg was rather tasty and a well sized portion at an average price point for the area. The coffee was one of the better ones I've had since being in Christchurch. The service was timely although not overly friendly but at the same time not unpleasant. I would go back again.

Great coffee and hot chocolate, friendly service, GF options, and fun vibe in New Regent St. Multiple visits as it was so good.
