Really great food and affordable prices. A quaint little restaurant, however we went at lunchtime so I assume that during dinner it would be a lot busier. Highly recommend :)

Top notch, I happened upon this place one day for lunch, and was very pleasantly surprised, the friendly welcome, attention to detail was first rate, the food was excellent, i love my indian food, most places fail to satisfy my craving but this is truly awesome, i now make it a regular stop. Definanltly recommend La Tandoor.

I have tried several of the curries and the naan bread and they have all been tasty. The vegetarian curries are also lovely.The best indian in Christchurch, and I am fussy!
We (three adults) decided to try out this new Indian Restaurant on Marshland Road and were extremely satisfied with the experience. The staff member was friendly and attentive, the surroundings are pleasant, there is a wide range of choice at a reasonable price and all of us found the food to be excellent. We will definitely be going back.

The food is simply delicious and great value. We like to Dine in as the service is fantastic and always so polite and friendly. we also get takeaways from time to time. The food is always consistently excellent and authentic and there is a great selection for any tastes - cater to vegetarian and for those who want mild through to hot spicey. I definitely recommend to everyone I know! I have been visiting approx monthly for the past 2 years and intend to pick up a takeaway tonight - YUM!
Lovely place. Went in to pick up a pick up order and it was clear they were a little busy. A staff member said it would be 5 mins. 4 minutes later, despite it being busy, he brings the completed order straight to my car. Very good customer service, going above and beyond. Food was excellent too. They give you six options of spice levels instead of the standard 3-4 which is also great. Will recommend to my friends.
Had a wonder non veg platter with rice it was so yum and price was also reasonable with a good quantity and must try the mango lassi. Adding on the staff friendliness is to be appreciated and had a remarkable dinner.

Finally an Indian restaurant in Christchurch which serves the real food. By real, I mean the food not painted red or orange.
We picked this place randomly for my birthday dinner. The atmosphere was nice and service was great. The food tasted great and had distinct flavors.
Will recommend anyone who's after real food. I'll be visiting again.
I was so full when I left La Tandoor! Amazing food and service. The hospitality industry is struggling and WE have to be patient with the people who work in these places BUT our waiter was excellent👍. Even though he was the only waiter, he was able to attend to everybody's needs. It was a bit difficult for me to find where it was because it's hidden in a corner.
Had a very good dinner with family. Had prawn, chicken and lamb and everything was cook to near perfection. Wasn't busy at the time and service was good too. Pricing pretty fair and all over nothing to complain about. Was enjoyable and should be back again.

Beautiful food and great service. Yummy lamb korma, garlic naan. My friend had dal makhni with alooo paratha. Loved it.
I cannot recommend this place enough. Amazingly delicious food, great service, and reasonable priced. This is our go to restaurant for our cravings! I recently hosted a family function and all of my guests spoke highly of the food and service.

Ever since the change of management thing's have greatly improved! The food's great, staff are highly attentive, and hospitable, and the restaurant has a warm and welcoming atmosphere. You can't ask for any better!
