Tried Bikanervala’s food for the first time. We ordered their special thali of the day ‘Punjabi Thali’ which was full of punjabi flavours and vibes with sarso ka sag n lassi etc. Traditional bikaner thali is good value for money. I loved the south indian platter with idli,vada & dosa with sambar. & if you are also a chai lover you can find really good masala Tea here. The food was on time and staff was friendly. Overall 5/5 ☺️

It’s always clean and tidy and the food is amazing! I have never had a disappointing meal here and the selection in the sweets cabinet is amazing and so cool to be able to try different foods.

I recently had the pleasure of dining and I must say, it was an outstanding experience. The food was delectable, and the ambiance was inviting. What truly stood out was the exceptional customer service provided by one of the staff members, a young girl (Mahi)with a radiant smile and a truly professional demeanor. She made our visit all the more enjoyable with her polite and attentive approach, ensuring that every aspect of our meal was perfect. Her cheerful attitude and dedication to her work truly set the tone for a wonderful evening. Kudos to her and the entire team for creating such a memorable dining experience. Their chaat is one of the best chaats in Christchurch. And the service is always good. Prices are still reasonable, most importantly the food quality was really impressive. It’s a must try for people who miss Bombay food! ♥️

We had an array of delicious food here. Some more to our taste than others, but that was personal preference rather than the food itself. It was very busy on a Sunday afternoon which was obviously a good sign. If you're looking to try a selection of vegetarian Indian Street food and sweets this is definitely worth a visit.

All the way came from Hamilton Tried best food I ever had in Newzeland at Bikanervala. The must visit place with mouth watering Indian food, Food Served by Divek was very good in explaining the varieties of items and gave good recommendations. Looking forward to visit again.

The quality, freshness and authenticity of the sweets are simply unmatched. The staff members are attentive, friendly and always ready to assist. I must also mention the impeccable hygine standard maintained. Cleanliness and hygine are given utmost priority. It’s was a great experience. The ambiance is very welcoming and charming. Amazing food and service .it was super busy but the manager (mahi)at the front was multitasking and super efficient. She was very approachable and treated us very nicely even it was almost a closing time and i do appreciate that.

Nice place to get sweets and some indian street food they have good range of dosas and sweets. Malai chap was very good. We tried chole bhature it was pretty good. Bread pakoda was very average and dosa was good too. They have good masala tea. They are still developing the place. Hope they get a good menu in.

The best Indian food and sweets in Chch. Authentic hygienic and well prepared. Thought I’ve been to Bikanirwala nearly 100 times since I’ve moved to Chch last year, today I feel compelled to leave a great review. Normally we have a Rajdhani thali - a luxurious meal (enough for two) with many dishes, two snack items, a drink and an amazing sweet (rasmalai yumm!!) Today as part of Onam celebrations they had a Onam Sadya. Though not a full fledged Kerala Sadya, every item was so good and authentic that it left us feeling full and nostalgic. Our sincere thanks to the chefs and staff at Bikanirwala. Keep up the good food and service guys! We will keep coming back for more.

Food was amazing. So tasty!! Love it

An amazing place to get delicious Indian food. The ghee roast dosa was crispy and had a delicious spice powder on it. The thali had delicious curries and was very filling. The selection of sweets is always my favourite part with indulgent Indian sweets.
