Baklava was way too saucy, there could have been more vegetables, a beef option would be really nice and it was too hard to make a phone order because of the language barrier. However the food was fabulous and the place is open till 2.40am, so overall pretty top notch. My third favourite in chch, with the others shutting much earlier though, I will definitely be back :)

Excellent value for money only $10 for a small doner wrap, packed full of salad and meat. My daughter had a chicken one and she said it was great, I had the lamb and the meat was a little dry and burnt, but I still ate it all.

People, we enjoyed very delicious, Iskender meals that were good value for money & efficient service.
However the business seriously needs to replace the poor quality cardboard containers for their takeaway meals. The inside bottom of our containers started breaking up from the heat & meal moisture so cardboard was being mixed with bits of the meal! Customers beware!

Best Turkish Food Co. is named appropriately. As far as central city Turkish cuisine goes, you can’t get better than this. Absolutely phenomenal tasting kebabs for a very reasonable price in such a central location. The chips on offer are of extreme quality and are very tasty. Their extra hot hot sauce is the only condiment I’ve had from a restaurant that has genuinely been as hot as advertised. I’ve had most of the menu, but my favourite would have to be the chips kebab, it’s massive so you can either eat it all and not have to eat later or split it for a cheap meal for two.

Their name has it, truly the best Turkish in town. Easy ordering, friendly staff, cooking super fast too almost zero wait time, and you can order via phone ahead and just go pick up. They also have uber eats and open till 5am now during weekends. We tried the Turkish drinks too, flavour was different from what you normally get and quite tasty. Would definitely go back again. The sad thing is they have recently changed from using paper box to polystyrene box, please bring back the paper box!

Late at night when 90% of the other Christchurch CBD eateries had closed, we ventured into the Best Turkish Food Co looking for sustenance to extend our evening. Not really located near other eateries, it seemed that our arrival took them by surprise as one of the chefs was having a bite to eat himself on one of the front tables.
However the service we received was impeccably warm and personal, the kebab made fresh to order on the salad a real hit with unexpected gems like chickpea and eggplant relish part of the deal. And I couldn’t resist sampling the Baklava which lived up to the promise of being moist with honey between crisp layers of golden filo.
Delicious, good value, I would certainly return the next time a late night kebab craving hit me!

This gets 5 stars, as I would normally give it a 4.5, but do not have that option. Best Turkish food in Christchurch by a mile, and better still it is open late. Can be a little wait when it is busy, but totally worth it. Central location makes it great to pop in after having some drinks in town. They also deliver via Uber Eats up until about 3am. Highly recommend

Stumbled on it late at night debating between this and pizza. Best kebab I’ve had in New Zealand. Super kebab was not dry, not soggy, huge meat portion. Authentic shaved meat.

Very friendly service! Generous portions sizes for our chips. They were happy for us to choose more sauces on kebab. We chose eggplant and loved it. Very accommodating.
