A great place with a variety of Indian cuisine for a reasonable price. Staff is friendly and the place is clean and well maintained. The food is delicious and absolutely worthy for the price paid. They are also available in a number of delivery platforms as well.

Had Butter chicken, garlic naan and a mango lassi, Butter chicken was tasty a touch sweet for my liking but still pretty good nice flavour, naan was good personally I like it with a bit more softer texture but what I got was nice. Would come again and would recommend trying Zyka

Fantastic food. I’m not a huge curry guy and I absolutely love the food here. The service is great too, with friendly staff. They have absurdly great value considering how good the food is. They have deals for students and a 2 for one deal on Monday and Tuesday nights. 100% worth it. Take the flat out, treat yourselves.

Gaurav was absolutely brilliant.
3 times we have been served by this wonderful young man and I've never seen such good organisation of a restaurant with such a large turnover of guests during dinner time.
The food is absolutely delicious, customer service is on point. Coming from restaurant owners ourselves it is really pleasing to see that people still enjoy working in hospo, even though customers are so difficult some times!!

excellent food, friendly & cheerful service. It can get a little loud because this place is so popular, especially for large groups. Have dined here several times, from dinner for two to dinner for 20, sampling a range of options, and every time the food has been exquisite. Firm favourites include the pappadam & pickles, Zyka fried chicken, paneer lababdar & mango chicken. Naan is hot, crunchy, garlicky & delightful. The mango lassi are a sweet treat, very tempting to have more than one!

An excellent Indian restaurant close to the university. The ambience inside the restaurant was very good with lots of seating. There is a bar within the restaurant. Found the menu to be quite extensive with good vegetarian options. Staff were very responsive and ensured that food was served on time. There is a parking area beside the restaurant and the bus stop is at a walkable distance from the restaurant.

Their Chiken Tikka is just the best I have had in Christchurch. They serve it as a Sizzler. I loved the idea.

One of the best indian restaurant in town. Walking distance to UC, which makes it suitable for university students. If you are looking for a true zyka "suad" of India then this the place.. Indeed. You can get variety of indian stuffs which are delicious and yummy. They have so many options like Banquet dinner, veg curry, sea food curry, lamb curry and chicken curry too. If someone is chopati food fan, then there are some chaat, tikka platter and samosas. There is Monday-Tuesday curry offer too, in that they provide buy one curry - get one curry free. Dining Space is beautiful and spacious which is sufficient eough for group party and bday. Overall it is the good place to have indian food. Go and have some Indian food there, you wouldn't be disappointed with there service.

We ordered a briyani and fish curry for lunch. The waiting time was longer than expected. Briyani is tasty and good portion but the fish was stink and small in portion. Every table got a complimentary naan I guess. Overall good. I will revisit this restaurant for other food but not the seafood.

Absolutely delicious! Went here last night to get a takeaway with my friend. After getting over the initial language barrier with the man behind the counter, we ordered a hot chicken tikka masala, medium prawn malabari, a garlic naan and a cheese and garlic naan. It was all incredible. Juicy, well cooked pieces of chicken, big juicy prawns, curries were delicious with proper authentic flavours, naans with plenty of garlic. Will definitely return and have told my friends too :)

A lovely place for dine in or take away. Authentic Indian food with great taste. They can serve you food depending on your taste and the way you want it. Very friendly staffs and hard working. Quick service. The chefs in the kitchen are very expert. If you go at the take away section, behind the dine in area, you will get a chance to meet them and their fast working skills. The place is very close to university area. Very easy location and quite handy for the students of UC. The price is quite reasonable compared to the other Indian restaurants. I have tasted some of their items already. The Tandoori Chicken, Rogan Josh and Dahl Maharani are their special items. The Naan they served was very soft and moist. The combination of Naan with Lamb Kofta might take you to the alley of a city of India within a moment. If you have a good enthusiasm for food, this place might be one of your places to be.
