After a very warm evening there is no better place to call in and share a bottle of your favourite wine and a bite to eat. Their gluten free pizza is pretty top notch. They also have 0% alcohol wine which is a bonus too if you are the sober driver. The staff always remember your name if you have been there more than once and always go out of their way to make your time there enjoyable. It's not too loud that you can have a conversation. I'm happy to call this my local of many years. You should try it too.
PS My dog quite enjoys a day time visit too.

I was here last night for dinner and everything was so nice about the place. I ordered Virgin Mohito and it wasn’t sweet what I liked. Also, my food was Market Fish and it was very delicious. I could also taste their Mac n Cheese what was delightful too. The service was very attentive and respectful. The ambiance and the design of the place is also beautiful. I recommend it to everyone 👍🏻

We often find ourselves looking for lunch in between lunch and dinner; so was pleased to find Aikmans extensive lunch menu goes till 3pm. Enjoyed a thai chicken salad with a side of grilled prawns cooked to perfection, muh 👌

Great indoor and outdoor restaurant. Lots of people enjoying the warm evening. They have good meals and good hot snacks to eat at the outdoor tables.
Definitely worthwhile dropping in for a quick snack or with a reservation booking a table.

Normally packed with oldies however on this quiet weekend it was a nice mix of people.
Suggest the music doesn't need to be blasted when it's a quiet not so bustling night.
Makes for a more enjoyable atmosphere to actually chat to friends without shouting above music.

This place has a great vibe. Ambience, food and not to forget the stunning cocktails all combined make it a ’must hit spot’ in town! We ordered calamari and shrimp and let's just say, it was simply a ’treat to the taste buds’. Staff host table service with a warm and personable attitude - this added to the experience and made it truly memorable.

An excellent relaxing establishment. If you can go on a Monday. The platters are half price, which is about what they should be. Service is always tops. The place has a nice feel to it. Stylish, comfortable & relaxing. We shared the antipasto & the parfait duck pate, which is fantastic. Would definitely recommend this place. Best value being a Monday

It's such a shame when you like a place, you visit regular when in town then they go change the menu, so the reason you visit no longer exists. any recommendations for a new place that serve a great seafood platter would be appreciated as this is now off the menu. Tapas are passé and there's nothing lite or remotely healthy on the snack menu. Friendly place though and a great wine list.

Have to agree with Tim Corcoran below. Went there today with friend for lunch. Waited 25 minutes for service to order a drink let alone a meal. When finally we did get our meals, fish and chips for both, the plate was all about chips. Both our fish were mostly over cooked batter that contained very little fish meat accompanied with a small bowl of what can only be described as lettuce leaf for a salad, which had very little if any dressing at all. For a restaurant in one of Christchurch's wealthy areas, and considering the costs of their meals, it's a real surprise that this restaurant is operating let alone writing itself up in the way it does on its website. Our local R.S.A serves a better meal and with better service for half the price as well. Would not recommend this restaurant to anyone, unless of course you like "chips and batter". Its a shocker.

My mother and I were taken to your eatery today as a mother's day treat from my son's. We felt welcomed as soon as we arrived by our hostess Jordyn. My glass of bubbles was a nice surprise. We all enjoyed our brunch. It was great they catered for the 3 younger members in our party. Thank you Jordyn and Aikmans.
