Madam Kwong's Restaurant - Christchurch - Photo album

We had tons of dim sum for lunch. Decent food and location. Average $5-6 (NZ) per plate, and they bring out one or two plate at a time. Pay attention to the total number of plates, which I didn't like to track the number of dishes. If you are crafor a Chinese food, this may not be a bad place to
It is one of the very few places that open late night on weekdays. I've been there many times and mostly after 11 pm. Nice place for seat long enjoy food and having a great time. Plenty of seats, a wide range of food, but due to my dietary restrictions, I only choose veg & chicken items.
Second day stay in Christchurch, we come here for lunch with family. Authentic Yum Cha food and valuable portions, you can’t beat their taste and price. I also believe meat-lover will love it. $5-7 per portion is impossible to get in Wellington. I mean “No way!” Thank you for the excellent food and
Great food lovely staff love this place great set menu for groups
Good restaurant just almost 5 Star. The foods looks good on the traditional Tom Sum trolley. Maybe is not busy enough some of the pastry seems a bit dry after leaving out for too long. The service is good and staffs are helpful. We also ordered some order to cook dish, seems much better. Overall I
I have never had a bad meal and I've been quite a bit! Sometimes, the trolleys are not in use, but ordering from the menu is easy and the food comes just as quick. Vivian is a great host and the staff are friendly. In my opinion, they have the best xiao long bao in town!
One of the best places for Yum Cha in Christchurch. Reasonable price and good service. The place is big so we didn't wait Too long for tables. Location is good. Open hours is perfect.
I had a mixed experience at Madam Kwong. The food was absolutely delicious, and I would definitely order takeout again. The service was okay, but the restrooms were a disappointment. There were no doors, and the cubicle doors slammed against the sink, which was quite inconvenient. Additionally, the
I came here with some colleagues on a trip. The amount of food that we got was great! We could barely finish everything. Overall the food quality was really good and the servers spaced out the dishes quite well, so that we were never waiting for something to come out. A good experience!
Very nice food and found everything great. Although serving sizes r big so be careful what and how much u order. We had chicken soup, sizzling Chicken, chicken szechuan (nothing special) blue cod with sauce, prawn Szechuan (very nice) and cashew chicken. Plus vegetarian noodles. Enjoyed thoroughly.
This place was recommended to me by a friend and as the same with them, no fault. The food is beautiful and well prepares. Very happy customer.
Awesome food and service. Best yum cha I have tasted ever in Australia and New Zealand. So much variety with freshness you can so taste. Great job and thanking you so much Madam Kwong! 3 years later you still amazing 😍
I believe this is the best Chinese restaurant in Christchurch. I came here all the time when I visited Christchurch. My family and I really enjoyed the red bean bun, phoenix feet, fried kuey diao and prawn dumpling during yum cha. The evening meal was fantastic too. We enjoy the freshness of the
