Nice strong coffee just how I like it! Great service & very speedy. Lovely decor and ambience. Food looked amazing & caters for gluten free diners. Separate area that can be used for groups & fabulous location close to Canterbury University.

Lovely clean building, great atmosphere and it’s close to the University of Canterbury. There are some spaces for parking but they can fill up quickly. Food and Coffee are good and the staff are wonderful

The eggs Benedict were good with the salmon, it is tasty and delicious. It's a great hike here from UC, not too long. The atmosphere is amazing, staff are friendly and helpful. I had tried the haloumi but that was a little bitter last time. Definitely a nice little cafe on the corner and being busy is a good sign. Would definitely return and hope they can keep prices competitive.

First time here this morning. Flat white was lovely but was so disappointed with the keto coffee cake. It LOOKED amazing but was dry, crumbly and didn't have much of a coffee taste. I will be back though it's a beautiful cafe and has some parking which is handy.

It's my first time eating here and I would definitely go back. We had Mothers Day brunch. It was so delicious and the service was excellent. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a reasonably priced meal. Loved it.

I’ve been here a couple of times with different people at their recommendation. The florentine is quite good, they’re quite generous with the hollandaise sauce. The fries were really soggy, it was like they cooked the fries in oil that wasn’t sufficiently heated enough. The flat white was ok, but steer clear of the iced chocolate, they didn’t put sugar in their whipped cream, so it tasted like congealed fat.<br/>Service was unfriendly each time I went, staff don’t smile, except to each other.

Today is the day I decided to dine in and the atmosphere within LB & Co was mellow. Staff are lovely and their drink selections for me was more enjoyable then my food choice. But this reason is I was expecting the nachos with more sauce. Nevertheless it was good.
Table For One
This place is definitely the saving grace of food options near university. There is a good selection of food and drinks to choose from, especially the bagels with generous portions of toppings. They also have plenty of places to seat group dining or coffee dates. However the service does feel a bit rushed and isn't always friendly.

Decidedly average breakfast. <br/>I went with three friends using a GrabOne voucher that gave us two breakfasts for $20. There was a good selection of options to choose from. <br/>I had the eggs Benedict with salmon. The salmon was beautiful and one egg was perfectly cooked, the other a bit overdone. The croissant it was served with was dry as if it had been toasted a while ago. I also felt there was too much spinach in relation to everything else. The hollandaise was ok, nothing special. The whole meal seemed to get cold quickly which wasn't the greatest. <br/>My friend who ordered the French toast felt there was way too much berry compote served with it but the toast itself was good. <br/>For a $10 breakfast I can't complain but won't be in a hurry to go back. <br/>My hot chocolate was just ok, nothing special. <br/>The interior was nice and very clean but the choice of music was slightly unusual. <br/>

I have been here a few times over the last couple of months and really, it's one of two or three cafes in Christchurch where I'll keep coming back. My partner adores the Parisian Eggs Benedict, and the Saturday morning counter staff are positively charming. A definite recommend, especially in the price bracket this cafe is in.

Beautiful new environment, well lit and clean. Service seems to be restricted to just the staff at the counter, not much to say in that regard.<br/><br/>Both times I've been here I've only had drinks, and both times it's been a fairly middle of the road experience. Big quibble with both mine and my friend's iced mochas being room temperature other than the ice cream on top. Not very nice.<br/><br/>Have come back a few times since writing the above, no update on coldness of iced mocha situation but have had other coffees since and they were delicious!
