First Time here today! Only be accident did we end up here as our regular was full! What a delight!! As we walked in we noticed the warm modern decor which is right up our alley! Then we noticed the cabinet... We nearly lost our minds with all the amazing options!! Once decided we ordered an were greeted with a friendly bubbly worker who with in no time at all we were happily eating an drinking in the sun!! First impressions last a long time and this was one hell of a great first impression! I highly recommend to all!
One of my favourite cafés in Christchurch. Using Union beans, the coffee is quick and never burnt or bitter they also serve fresh smoothies. The cabinet selection leaves nothing to the imagination and caters to all diets be it vegan or pure carnivore, and an array of sweets to top it off. They have a full breakfast menu as well with the classic Eggs Benedict and works breakfasts surpassing expectation.
I have visited Crema for the first time today and loved it. It is modern and fresh looking, the hostess and staff are so welcoming and friendly, food is beautiful, and coffee... I have tried their new 'cream caramel latte' - it was divine! the best caramel latte I have had anywhere. They also have amazing freshly squeezed juices, original combination of fruits and veges e.g. 'mint, mango and apple' or 'beetroot, celery and apple' etc. What a fabulous place.
I discovered this little New Brighton gem a few months ago and have gone back about four times since. The cafe is situated in the New Brighton Mall, a few shops down and across the Library. For starters, the staff is friendly and attentive, the cafe is delightfully airy and clean with modern seating and lovely colour tones...i.e. relaxing. I'm a tea drinker and love the fact that they have a large array of loose leaf teas. And, the teas are served in lovely cups..believe me, nothing worse than going into a cafe, ordering a hot drink and getting a chipped cup or old pot...The cabinet food is varied and everything I've tried (vegetarian options) has been tasty and fresh. The vegetarian pizza is great and always with plenty of toppings. On top of it all, the food and tea are really reasonably priced. Because this cafe is a little bit away from some of the main shopping area, it can be easily overlooked, but well worth a stop in.

Great service and a great selection of reasonably priced food. Excellent interior with warm and friendly staff. Owned and operated by Sarah who is highly experienced and makes all her own food!
Outside appearances are deceiving. Service is at the end of the establishment. Great cabinet of food, I wanted to try all of them as they did look delicious. Concrete floor, mirrors on the wall. Had a cooked breakfast. This was plentiful and well presented and came with a good selection of breakfast treats. Choice of egg cooking style. I had poached and the egg was cooked so the golden lava of the yolk drizzled out. A hot raspberry hot chocolate - looked great with its pink tinge. The baked goods looked so good I took a raspberry and white chocolate muffin home with me. Service on the day was friendly. My only complaint was from my friend who reported the water glasses did not look very clean.
As this is in the mall. Parking is plentiful around the area.
Go here, I think you will be pleasantly surprised.

A hidden gem. On a busy Saturday, great service, surprising and varied menu, cabinet food also looked yummy. Ordered the BLT, and it was delicious, bacon perfectly crispy, not undercooked as so many cafes do it, and an iced chocolate, also very good. Great presentation, environment, service and speed. Definitely recommended A+++
The veg and creme cheese filo was so delicious. The staff made us a fresh croissant to suit our taste which was just marvelous. It's hard to get a good hot chocolate these days but this one was perfect! The new caramel latte was also scrumptious and the staff so friendly. Nice and warm inside on a winter's day
Awesome wee cafe. Great coffee and delicious food. Excellent customer service with friendly and thoughtful staff. Our two young daughters enjoyed the colouring-in books and toys provided.
Nice food and friendly staff. Prices are ok and their breakfast are quite nice in quantity and quality. If you go for a walk at New Brighton market, take the time for a brunch there. Other notable thing, they have a real menu of quality teas, which is quite hard to find in town.
Nice little cafe in the heart of New Brighton. We only shared a drink and a slice of pizza but it was good. I'll be going back to try the iced coffee!! It was very reasonably priced.
These guys always accommodate our large group with no complaint. Fast friendly service, delicious coffee and food. Very reasonable prices too.
