I recently indulged in the whole pepperoni pizza from Sal's Authentic New York Pizza, and I must say it was a delightful experience! This pizza is generous in size and easily provides food for two days, making it a fantastic value. The taste was outstanding, earning a solid 5-star rating.
However, I would agree that the ambiance might not be suitable for a romantic first date. That said, the neighborhood offers plenty of park benches where you can enjoy your pizza in a more relaxed setting. The pepperoni scrolls: YUM! The garlic knots are, good too, but I will always go back for the scrolls! This is such an easy lunch or dinner option and it's delicious! Just don't be in such a hurry you burn your mouth... my mistake!

The Pizza here is amazing. Like genuinely amazing. I always get the Pepperoni and it never disappoints. The customer service is also incredible. Joyful, respectful, and professional. I witnessed some drunk verbally abusive customers and the workers remained so calm and professional and just did what they asked. Incredible.

A good spot in town for pizza. The guy at the counter was helpful in suggesting vegetarian pizza options. The pizza slices were pretty huge and filling. There were a few tables for in store dining, although takeaway seemed the more popular option. Toilets at the store were clean.

Our favourite place to go for pizza. My partner and I went here on our first date last year and have been frequent customers at the Sal's all around Christchurch ever since. I've secretly never been a fan of tomatoes or tomato base pizzas but Sal's legendary sauce was the one to change my mind. I love it & I love you Sal's 🍕❤

Great pizza deal and NY cheesecake. Takeaway boxes are cardboard and if only the marinara sauce container and cutlery weren't plastic, Sal's could lead the way to sustainable takeaways to go along with the great food.

Its a really good place i love that you only need one pizza ro share between lots of people they dont just sell pizza the also sell garlic nots and lots more they have a great selection of drinks and its a really cheep place just i wish they had more seating.😁
