First time we tried them tonight, been a long time customer of another takeaway and now we will be Everest customers. Hands down the BEST curry we have had in Christchurch. So unbelievably delicious. 100/10.

Here you can get the best Dal Bhat on the south island (haven’t tried the north island yet)! It is super delicious and you can get more rice and dal, just like in Nepal! I have no spice tolerance at all, so the mild option is perfect for me. My partner likes the medium spice, it is not too hot, yet gave the dish a great flavour, he says. The staff is super friendly and welcoming and I like the pictures on the wall! 10/10 would recommend to anyone, I’m literally craving this Dal Bhat all the time!

Delicious MOMOS! The best in Christchurch by far. My favourite is the GOAT CURRY! Always get it every time I’m there!

Have been getting takeaway from here for years, food always tastes amazing every-time, I have never eaten at another indian cuisine restaurant and it taste anywhere as good as this restaurant. Whenever I introduce friends and family to this restaurant they are always amazed at how good the food tastes. The employees are lovely and I will continue to support this lovely place and thought I should finally write a review considering how long they have consistently delivered great food and service.

I've been to most of the Christchurch Indian restaurants, and Everest Ferry road is clearly the best. So far my top 3 dishes are Chicken Tikka Masala Goat curry Everest Biryani

No words can express how tasty the food here is. Chilli chicken nd chicken momos were amazing. Still waiting for the mains but couldn’t stop myself to leave a review. The only place to have best Indo Chinese Nepalese food in Christchurch. The Real Taste specially the way we Indians like it. Chef is real friendly and can actually suggest best items from the kitchen

Food is very yummy, has pure Indian taste than most places. the curries are rich, and they make every dish, just how spicy you want it to be, they are very comfortable to talk to and happily change the food to make it up to your best. couldn't think of anywhere else better.
everyone should give it a go... highly recommend it

Good food! Always super fast and professional service. Curry is always very tasty and rice cooked to perfection! We have always got takeaway - I have never seen anyone eating in there and that could be due to inside, it could definitely do with a bit of an update! But curry is always good!

Great meal, great takeaway. Love the food and the service. The butter chicken is great, rich and tasty unlike other places. Do go there if u are looking for a great takeaway or dine in. Highly recommend it, you will not regret... 😊👌

Great food, nothing to complain.
Highly recommended to all the people who love dumpling, and yummy curries. I have been there many times for takeaways and few times for dine in, the service is great over all.

Takeaway lunchtime curry is $7.99 across the menu. It would seem to be excellent value but the food unfortunately reflects the pricing. The lamb saag I ordered was plump with meat. It was also overwhelmingly creamy - the fattiness of this pooled visibly on the sauce surface. It had little flavour beyond that. The spinach sauce had been mouli-ed into the texture of baby food too.

Very rich and heavy even by typical NZ Indian style standards.

We visit this amazing Indian Restaurant regularly, they consistently produce an extremely high quality of food, excellent menu, excellent food, excellent service. Highly recommend this place.

We almost always get our Indian Takeaway from Everest in Woolston - my sons fav is Butter Chic and the girl at the desk makes the place shine!!

I've only had takeout once from there so far but it was very tasty!! The tikka masala is a good blend of spice, sweet, tangy, creamy. Will definitely being going back and certainly trying a few others

This has been our local for a few years, and it is so consistently good that we are reluctant to try other Indian food as it is often somehow disappointing in comparison! We have eaten here maybe 20 or 30 times. Maybe more!

The best dishes in our opinion are the Madras or the Lajabab, both wonderful every time. The best thing is that they are different from week to week, different color, different flavor, but always very good.
Rich, tasty, lots of meat.

The naan breads are yum too. Try the spiced chai tea.

And great staff.

We love Everest! The young girl in there is very attentive, smiley and good at her job. When we asked if we could have hotter than hot, they happily obliged and we are regular enough that they know our favourites when ordering takeaways. The food is delicious!

We just moved to the Opawa area and were worried about the lack of Indian takeaways. Luckily we spotted this one driving down Ferry Road, they had all our favourites and some extra dishes that we rated even better than our previous Indian local.
