I wanted to thank the staff at Hartnell's for the fantastic lunch we had yesterday. We were a large group of 10 adults and 3 young children. Our meals were delicious and were delivered to our table with great speed. The children loved their kids' meal and the pictures they got to colour. The staff were so attentive to our needs and made our lunch together so enjoyable and special. I would highly recommend Hartnell's as a great place to dine. We will definitely be going back. A huge thank you to Kahu and your amazing team!

Four of us dined here today and found it a most pleasant experience. It was Mother's Day but we hadn't booked. We were greeted very warmly and a table was found for us. We put our order in and received our food promptly. I was also given a rose and a little sweet treat which was a lovely gesture. The food was delicious and the coffee also very good. Thank you and we will definitely return. As we live out of Christchurch now we will certainly recommend Hartnells to friends who may be visiting.

What a lovely place for a sunday lunch! Freshly decorated ,clean , tidy and friendly staff. The food we had was very tastey and not badly priced. The only small down thing was the noise level , it was fairly busy so it was hard to hear each other at times but the good food and wine made up for that small neg.

What a lovely place to go do coffee on a Sunday afternoon. My husband and I stopped in Sat in the beautiful courtyard, my hubby said it was the best coffee he has had. Awesome customer service, just an amazing spot. Only thing is slightly on the expensive side. We loved it.😄 Thank you for such great service and friendliness.😉

I had a business meeting at Hartnells today and was very impressed. I ordered coffee & within minutes it was delivered to our table. The coffee was perfect. I went before the lunch time rush, staff were friendly and helpful. I'm so thankful to have a nice local cafe available to us again. The food looked great so maybe next time I'll venture in to sample your menu!

I'm so happy Prebbleton finally have a nice place to go for a great coffee and a bite to eat. I just have to keep coming back for the coffee, food and service with a smile. Sure they have had hiccups in earlier days, they have learnt and improve. Well done and please keep it going!

I enjoyed my morning tea break at Harnells EXCEPT, to order a cup of English B/fast tea and get delivered 3/4 cup of hot water with a teabag on the saucer is not good enough. Where was the teapot? It is the little things that distinguish a good cafe from a mediocre one.
