New owners? Still good service but change in seating arrangements and not so cosy. Beer on tap, cabinet food and main sales coffee. Organic coffee sold. Car parking in windmill centre.

This was one of the best egg Bene’s I’ve had in a while. Presentation was amazing, everything cooked perfectly and everything was already seasoned to taste. Definitely would recommend! Staff are friendly too.

Very friendly service and one of the best almond milk flat whites (takeaway) I have had in a long time! Easy parking too so I will be stopping in again.

30minute wait for 2 drinks & a muffin... we went to leave but she said she had our coffees...then proceeded to make them in front of us! Not busy so not sure what the issue was, seemed to only have 2 staff for the whole cafe but still not good enough - only takes 30seconds to put a muffin on a plate & deliver! Friendly enough staff but very unimpressed, won't be back.

Service was terrible, had a half an hour wait, didn't bring coffees, wasnt too busy either, food average, partner wanted full breakfast or eggs benedict and they had ran out, we had pancakes, or shall i say pikelets with hardly anything on them, then coffee tasted like crap, we got it in takeaway cups because we could not get out of there fast enough, also toilet was disgusting with one small towel to dry hands on which was wet. Not a happy experience!

Well all I can say this is the worst place I have been too firstly coffee order was wrong took 55 mins to get coffees and over one hour waiting for Sunday brunch service was shocking they even turned customers away when it wasn't busy they got a lucky escape honestly I'd close the doors !!! I

Nightmare! Over 45 mins for coffee, over an hour for food. Refusal to refund and then substandard food. Shitty sausages cold eggs shitty bacon. Could not wait to leave.

Arrived at midday. Sat and ordered meal. Meal came out at 1.20pm. Coffee was horrible felt sorry for young lady waitress. Not many people there when we arrived but people who came in after us some how managed to get their meals and left before we got ours. Certainly will not be going back.

Will never go here again!!! Waited over an hour for breakfast. My 4 year old and another guest got there food then 15min later I got mine which was stone cold. It wasn't even busy. Table's were covered in dirty dishes.

Booked stable for 2 with a grab one voucher and ordered big brekky and poached eggs with a double extra of bacon at $2.00 a pop. Got two eggs, three very small slices of bacon on two thin slices of cibiatta bread. Big brekkie was fine apart from only the sausage and hash brown being Hottish. The rest was Luke warm only. Not big meals but felt a bit ripped off when I was charged $4.00 for the extras bacon and the Grab one voucher for $40.00 had only had 31.00 used on it. Can't see us going back again.

The service was the worst I've ever experienced, over half an hour to get served coffee, unless you where getting a take way, which was done as soon as it was ordered,The food took nearly 2 hours, and the excuse was, We where busy! Well I was there, 18 meals were produced in that time, Must be a record for the slowest cook ever!!

Coffee is always amazing! They offer almond or soy milk options and make it really well. With a jaffa on the side. I love their slices - salted caramel or walnut and coffee slice... very addictive! Perfect place for coffee and dessert. Coffee prices are reasonable but food is a little pricey. Staff are lovely.

My girlfriend and I went here for breakfast. We tried to use the grabone deal but it required calling ahead to use. We called three times and couldn't get through over the course of the morning. We eventually showed up at about 11:15 and were told they were very busy and booked out so we couldn't use the grabone deal. Since there were only four tables being used, and more then ten not being used, this struck me as highly dubious from the off, but we decided to eat there anyway.

I ordered a scrambled eggs on toast with sides of bacon and hashbrown, my girlfriend ordered a toastie with a side of hashbrown. We then waited an hour for our food as one of only five tables being used.

When it did arrive, my girlfriend's toastie had been made using the crusty end-piece of the loaf of bread and her two hashbrowns were claggy and unpleasant (also served with a cake fork which is a bit odd). A couple of minutes later my scambled eggs arrived, looking decidedly poached as the waitress (who was quite nice but very new) hadn't gotten my order right. My side of hashbrown was only one as opposed to my girlfriend's two, not sure why, but it was also claggy and unpleasant. They did offer to change my poached eggs for scrambled, but by that point we had very little time and I wasn't enthused about the prospect of waiting another hour for some eggs.

Moral of the story is don't go to Ed Hopper.

This cafe is an underrated hidden gem! Cute refreshing atmosphere inside. Good interesting dessert and great coffee. Belgium hot chocolate could be a little bit more chocolatey though!
