Huuuuuge bag of Pakora Wedges for only $5 which were super tasty, Butter Chicken was alright, and Cheese / Garlic Naan was delicious!! They also accept Entertainment Book for 25% off. Overall pretty happy.

I ordered the wrong dish. But the team were kind enough to replace my order with a new one. This level of service makes the food even more tastier. đ

I've gotten uber eats from here a bunch of times and today I went in for the first time and tried the lamb pasanda (small to takeaway). I LOVE IT. Awesome service and such delicious food every time!

Amazing 11/10 a MUST have is the garlic and cheese naan, genuinely the best I've ever had. They also tandoor the chicken in the butter chicken which adds to the flavour. I will be going back and am annoyed I didn't find out about this place sooner.

The garlic naan was perfect. The mango lassi was perfect. The curries were okay, but definitely nowhere near spicy enough, we ordered "hot" but they were more like mild, not even medium.

Great take away for a phone order. Arrived to a busy shop and meal ready. Friendly front of house staff member. Meal was great. Not hot enough for the Englishman we were with but fine for me. Good sized portions. Onion bhajis not real onion but good. Bombay potatoes well done with great flavor.

We live local and buy this Indian all the time, it is delicious! It tastes like real fresh ingredients and makes you feel good afterwards. The naan bread tastes authentic as well. Plus the guy who services us was super friendly. Would definitely recommend.

Their $15 combo is a bargain- come with rice, curry, naan and a can of soda!
Fish masala is yummy.

One of my favourite Indian Restaurants in CHCH. Really enjoyed the food with wide variety of curries and bread. Pricing is not bad and portions are decent. The service was not the best but still enjoyed the overall experience.

Tandoori Palace in Beckenham is surely the better of the three other franchises of the same name. I have tried the one in Upper Riccarton for a take away and the now defunct one of Christchurch Central City. Granted I tried the latter one for a dining experience, as opposed to a take away one for the other two. Regardless, Tandoori Palace in Beckenham is so far the better one. They also offer, from time to time, vouchers which allow you to get $30 worth of food for just $15! And that is not all!! Their prices are so reasonable that we (i.e. my friends and yours truly) managed to get two curries with rice and a naan bread for $15, sometimes just slightly more depending on whether you are inclined to get a fancier naan. It is surely in my top 5 Indian outlets in Christchurch. Recommended!!! And even more so for the vouchers.

This was disappointing for the price. For two takeaway curries at $35 they were tighter than a camel's bum in a Gobi sand storm with the ingredients. The Rogan Josh came with a sum total of 6 pieces of lamb, they needed fat removed too. The sauce was extremely thin. It used the more modern tomato base but had none of the rich red colouration associated with this dish. Instead, it was brown. It was lacking fresh coriander, which it is usually served with. The other order was Butter Chicken. It was very heavy (creamy) and needing more of the smoky tomato taste to balance it out. Â There's better bang for your buck to be had elsewhere.

We went to Tandoori Palace tonight to use our Entertainment Book voucher. I was initially disappointed by Tandoori Palace's to add some pep to their curry (mild chicken korma), but hey, they are the chefs so I went with it.

The onion bahjis were nice (although a little goupy inside) and the naan was delicious (very soft!). However, the bit that inspired us to write this review was the Korma. It was bland and horrible. I have had better curries from the mall.

Would not purchase again, which is a shame as the bahji and naan was delicious.

I've just had the lamb rogan josh and it's the best i've tasted in ChCh. The lamb just melted in your mouth. decent chunks and no fat to be seen. The chicken jalfrezi was good too, absolutely nothing wrong with it other than loved the lamb rogan josh. will definately be back.
