Well my Husband and I enjoyed our meals. He got the meat on rice and I got a souvlaki and they were both yummy. Customer service is friendly, the owner has his regulars so great to see he has awesome relationships with them when they come in. It's clean and tidy and you can sit in and eat also. Overall the experience there was pleasant and what we got tasted good. We will be back🙂👌🏾👍🏾

i do not say this lightly, but one of the best souvlaki in christchurch.
not stingy with the sauce and fillings, great customer service. i can eat a lot and a large souvlaki combo from here fills me up. chips are very good too, i highly recommend this place.

Good kebabs and chips! Huge portion and the salad is fresh. The tzatziki seems homemade and is delisous (a little heavy handed with it but for next time I'll ask for less) also the bread is really fresh and seems homemade too.
After seeing a lot of negative reviews from over 6 months to a year ago it seems this place might have had trouble after changing management however after today's meal I'd say they're back up to speed. Definatly worth trying!

Food is good. always go for the triple Chicken with chilli sauce. Very generous serving of meat with chopped salad and lots of sauce. The meat on chips is great for the kids. I just wish they had paywave.

The bread and felafel are both outstanding, and the service is friendly, only let down by the typical souvlaki / vegan interface- a souvlaki sans tzatziki is invariably a dry beast, few places manage to substitute adequately.

One of the best Resturant for Mediterranean food in the East side of Christchurch. Excellent service very friendly staff. I went there with couple of my mates it costs us $30 for all three of us. Highly recommended for the Mediterranean food lovers.

Disappointing. I'd been directed to these folk as doing a worthy souvlaki...Nope! The lamb was chewy as all hell, although it tasted like it'd been boiled. Mmmm boiled lamb, said nobody, anywhere, ever. The rest of the souvlaki filling was overpowered by a powder curry flavour. The pita was drenched in something oily too. The loyalty card assumes you'd be mug enough to return. Not me.

Great food, however I do not recommend becoming a regular. The service decreases as they get to know you. The loyalty card isn't really a good deal unless you only purchase small portions. You will be asked to top up the difference in cash for your free one regardless of your usual order. Again the food is really good. The lamb is the best.

Great clean takeaway kebab shop. Chips are delicious. Their sauce is great cooked fresh and very tasty. A bit hard to find on Ferry Rd just down from noodle union.

I was disappointed with my souvlaki. It had hardly any salad and the chicken was far to sweet tasting, making it sickly to eat after a few bites. I won't be returning to buy again.

Dined on take-away here last night. We ordered by phone & ordered a large chicken souvlaki, & a large chicken souvlaki combo. <br/>A great size, tasted great!, and awesome value for money. It was too much for me to finish, (combo) but the can was awesome suggestion as it finished the meal perfectly. <br/>Would pay to be there at store before souvlaki finished and ready to takeaway as it didn't stay warm for long. Taste & hunger made up for this last night, but bread was cold to touch by time home (3 1/2 mins by car) Could probably do with warming/grilling for a bit longer for warming through and crunch. <br/>Overall, fantastic value & taste and worth visiting if limited to area etc. <br/>Will definitely be visiting again

We love these souvlaki. Delicious & good value for $. Have been numerous times now & they are consistently good. Can vouch for the falafel & the mixed ones, yummy. They are healthy & leave you feeling good, not bloated & gross like some takeaways.

Really overpriced considering the location. It's a hole in the wall in Woolston, but charges like it's in Merivale. The souvlaki was bordering on disgusting - I wish I could post a picture. The special sauce is see through and is nearly identical to the pink hot dog sauce at your local country fair - cheap, very sweet, and overall gross. The lamb is dry,straggly and terribly seasoned, overpoweringly sweet and curry powder tasting - no one with actual taste-buds would come back here - lucky you are in Woolston, not exactly home to the culinary discerning types. To make things even worse, it was stone cold, assuming they didn't reheat it long enough which is a worry. $4 for a tiny little bag of fries, when there is a fish n chip shop over the road.<br/><br/>Can't eat the rest of this $13.50 tube of cold yoghurt and coleslaw and sugary sauce, what a waste, the bread is already soaked through and soggy within 10 minutes of being made. I would have been better across the road! With such an amazing souvlaki shop around the corner, who charges $1.50 less for everything and has amazing chunks of marinated lamb, I cannot forsee me ever returning to this purveyor of such bad souvlakis.

Not sure why I didn't know or stumble over this place before but now that we have have become regulars. Would and have recommended this place to everyone. The food is always fresh and juicy top job. I challenge everybody to go and try these you will not walk away disappointed.

Last night was the very first time my family tried it and we LOVED it! We live in Woolston so it's a shame that we only found you yesterday because we were walking past (stores quite hidden) but glad we did! We've tasted other Souvlakis and I can assure you this is the best by far! Definitely worth it.

Amazing souvlakis! I don't ever want to have to go to the other souvlaki shops in chch again as this is seriously the best! I loved how yum the sauces were and how the meat is freshly cooked in front of you.

Been there twice now.... Wee lil shop kind of tucked away but do not let that fool you :) I was super hungry & got a large mixed lamb & chicken and whoo these souvlakis are big, tasty and all round beautiful they are do not hold back on anything.. Meat, sauces, salad. Service is great and packed nicely... Have already recommend & has become a favourite in our area :). Well done guys

My husband and I just had Souvlaki here tonight - 12 Sept 2012<br/>It was delicious!!!<br/>I was hungry so got a large with kofta so yummy and so filling, More than enough! (my husband ate the rest)<br/>He got a large mix one and loved it too, raved about it all the way home.<br/><br/>We especially liked the souvlaki bread, you could tell it was fresh made on site not just a regular pita or flat bread.<br/><br/>We will go back there again for sure!
