I was so impressed with the range of vegetarian and vegan options. The topping combinations were fantastic. Pizza size slightly on the small size but filling and delicious. Friendly service aswell.

I hadn't had Spagalimi's until last night. I enjoyed it so much. The base was perfect. I felt that the toppings were generous, good quality, and nicely diced. The flavours were great. The order was on time. I will defo be back

We have just eaten the most delicious plant based pizzas at Spagalimis in New Brighton. The best menu in Christchurch, with a choice of 12 different yummy vegan pizzas! Thanks. We will be back!

the pizzas where really good however i am a little disapointed with the sides. the garlic bread it tastey buy there is not enough for sharing and the chips although they taste good the flavour is very strong so after you have a few they are a little bit sicking.

These reviews dont do Spags justice, they are by far the best pizza's i've had in christchurch. Mind you, i've only had fast-pizza from hells, domino's and pizza hut. For the speed they produce them, the pizza's are very impressive and definitely worth the money.

Average pizzas I had the chicken cream cheese and cranberry but all I could taste was cheese. Payed 4 bucks for nothing more then a single serve crofters cheesecake couldn't eat it as the plastic film had unsealed and the freezer food smells had leaked in. It was also visibility open so how did anyone not see it before they baged it!!! Could of given me food poision god knows how long it was in the freezer

Just went in for dinner, service was absolute crap. The tables were dirty and the staff had no idea what they were doing. We made a reservation for 4, rang the night before and they had no trace of a booking so we were sat at a two person table. The food was actually surprisingly alright. Just a pizza nothing exciting but I have had worse. Wouldn't go back.

Got a couple of large pizzas & kumara chips takeaway. The restaurant looked tidy & clean. Both pizzas had a decent amount of topping and were very edible. The bases were like the old Spags - ok but not as good as handmade. Basil on the Margherita pizza was a bit overpowering. Normally fresh basil leaves are used so next time I'd ask to leave it out. Service was quick. All in all good value. We would go again.

Went for dinner yesterday and nothing impressive the taste of food nothing like Italian food and overpriced. The food wasn't what we expected paid $87 and left with an empty stomach. sorry can't recommend it.

my partner and i had a trip in christchurch for 3days. we lived in a motel in new brighton sub. new brighton pier was amazing. we had dinner at this restaurant. staffs were friendly. especially pizzas were delicious. i had never eaten so much yummy pizza before we went to this restaurant. everybody you can try their lime chicken. that was really really yumy

We had dinner at this restaurant on firework day. Staff were friendly. Especially the pizza was so nice. My mom had apricot chicken, and I shared a large meat lover with my husband. That night, they were so busy, however we got a lovely service and professional food. We will be back!

We questioned whether we should go here as there was nobody in the restaurant at 6:30pm on a Saturday night. Completely empty. <br/><br/>The music was very random. A mix of 1980s R&B and Korean pop music. There was no toilet paper in the bathrooms and the soap dispenser had been ripped off the wall.<br/><br/>Food was ok, but nothing amazing. The chips were soaked in oil and left a greasy puddle. We weren't offered drinks and had to get my own room temperature water from the bar side. Strange plastic table cloths. $40 for a large pizza and bowl of chips. Overpriced. Would rather have gone to The Tannery or Winnie Bagoes for a superior pizza at similar cost.

I would not recommend this place to anyone,ever! Spags was good in the past,but not now. <br/>The tables have plastic covers,but they only had cleaned half of the surface,the other half was gritty and unclean. Asked for water and it was warm. <br/>Ordered Lambada and Pepperoni pizzas,asked for no tomato on the pepperoni. Out they came in good time,the place was empty. The pizzas had hardly any toppings. The Lambada had a very small amount of lamb (very hard 1cm bits),olives,feta (could not find any) and red pepper (3 very small bits) and my sons pepperoni had a lot of onion compared to the salami (a skimpy amount). <br/>Now i know why there is never customers in the place. <br/>I really don't like handing over good money for such a bad return,its like food fraud.

wow, it's the best pizza shop in new brighton. the thin base with perfect topping. my girl friend always likes this restaurant. she said 'they do real chicken'. we orderd a large chicken and cranberry. that was very delicious. at the end i can understand why my girl friend likes the restaurant. however i didn't try other pizzas, so i want to try meat one next time, and also with my girl friend. haha i love her!

Dirty floors dirty plastic covers over table cloths. Filthy glasses. Horrible pizza, everyone looked the same.... Dreadful service. Just a very awful dining experience.<br/>Not much more to add. Arrived at 5.30 with a booking. Asked about booking the table, got told to sit anywhere. No table set for us. Asked about specials, told there weren't any. Was posted on the Internet what they are. Just substandard all round. Wet and chipped plates, what else to say???
