This was our first time dinning at la ruby thai restaurant and I would definitely be making effort to return as soon as possible as it was very good food and the service was very good with regards to a fast and efficient service! The food was also an amazing and was one of the best Thai restaurant that we have visited in Christchurch! An overall excellent experience 👌 👏

LA Ruby is the place if you want to experience the indigenous taste of Thai food. All the flavours were so authentic and true to its roots. Their Satay gai (chicken served with homemade peanut sauce) is simply delicious. I recommend the Kaeng lenge(yellow curry). The subtle flavours of the pineapple and the bamboo shoots all blended so beautifully..it was sophisticated and comforting an are lots more to enjoy.
The staff is amazing. They make sure to remind you every now and then that you are having a luxury dining experience. They anticipate what you want even before you ask.
The ambience is perfect for any time to chill around with friends or family .The seating is limited, so do make sure to book a table in advance.

Had the combination sweet sour dish, it was very edible, the wahine had the scallop satay which she loved but I thought was ave. Entre was pretty good the double is literally two of everything, don't let the price fool you. Has a mean lemon lime and bitters, the missus just had water, she told me that the water was so fresh and so clean like Outkast. The chairs were too narrow for my sweet wahines booty so a bench seat would have been better, the toilet had not been wiped or anything in what seems to be quite a while. Not happy because I got poo on my hands, NOT MY FAULT!!😡

I had been struggling to find a good Indian restaurant in Christchurch. There is one I like and this one is definitely an addition to the list!
Had an amazing experience! Food was delicious. Service was above expectations. Karan is a really friendly man and the chef too. I will be coming back for more.

Excellent curries. 4 of us all had completely different dishes and they were all amazing. The sauces were very thick and the food was fresh and tasty, cooked to perfection. It is also a lovely venue and great atmosphere. We will be back again!

Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant at Ferrymead. The service here is unmatched. The staff truly cares about your experience. The food is absolutely amazing , delicious , everything we tasted here melted in mouth. Absolutely the best Thai meal we had while we visit herein.

I have been there for my birthday celebration at ferrymead. It's was a great experience it was my first visit an it has a good ambiance an friendly staff who really care what you want to order.

My daughter and I ordered Pad Thai and Chicken Stir Fry with oyster sauce, oh and money bags to begin. Everything had so much flavor, the mains were huge, we could realistically only manage half and took the rest away with us.
