I recently had the privilege of visiting Ally and Sid Café, and I must say, it was an absolute delight. The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the exceptional service provided by the café's staff. The barista, Kyle, is truly a maestro of his craft. His artistry in creating the most exquisite coffee concoctions left me in awe, each sip a symphony of flavors that danced on my palate. The front of house team, comprised of the splendid Blyth and the charming Emily, were the epitome of grace and professionalism. Their attention to detail and unwavering dedication to ensuring every guest felt welcomed was truly commendable. Their recommendations and warm smiles added a personal touch that elevated the entire experience. Now, let us talk about the pièce de résistance – the scones. Ah, the scones! Crafted by the talented Jesse, these scones are no mere baked goods; they are edible treasures that transport you to a realm of pure culinary delight. Jesse's scones are a testament to his mastery in the kitchen – perfectly flaky, delectably moist, and infused with an essence of indulgence that is simply unparalleled. One might even argue that these scones are a culinary treasure worth setting sail for! In conclusion, Ally and Sid Café is a hidden gem that exudes elegance, charm, and culinary prowess. The trio of Kyle, Blyth, and Emily, along with the enigmatic scone virtuoso Jesse, have curated an experience that is a symphony of sophistication for all the senses. First visit here and it was great. My cappuccino was super good and the donut.... mmmmm!! Awesome space, clean and pretty!

I often stop into Ally & Sid in the morning with my flatmates, at this point it has become a ritual. The experience is delightful, to say the least. Smiley, polite and outgoing staff, wonderful snacks and a coffee that would put your favourite cafe to shame. I would recommend Ally & Sid ten times over. I forgot to mention that the cafe is spacious and doggy friendly. Situated on the quaint Walker St, Ally & Sid will not disappoint. I highly recommend!!!

The best coffee I’ve had since moving to Christchurch!!! Lovely friendly staff, spent a couple hours in there studying and they were very friendly and accommodating. Will definitely be making this my regular spot

You’d be stupid not to make this place your regular! By far the best coffee I’ve tried, a wide range or gluten and dairy free options (for if you’re difficult like me). Go there for the coffee or for the food, just make sure you go!! Cannot recommend this place enough!!! Keep up the amazing work guys ♥️

One of the best coffees around ChCh, the best Picolo and Flat White with macadamia milk I ever had in my life. Beautiful design and the food is also very tasty. Staff is very friendly.
