Ordered a hangi through uber eats. It was absolutely delicious, arrived hot enough to eat it very moist and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was a bummer they didn't have fry bread for sale during my time of purchase but that's ok because I will be going back here again.

Great value hāngi and other kai. The combo is a fantastic deal, and the fry bread is probably the best I've ever had 😍 Pretty quick, a full combo meal takes less than ten minutes at peak dinner time, and I believe you can call ahead with your order for an instant pick up! Seafood chowder and raw fish is delicious, all in all very good value for money, and top notch hāngi!

Had the best kai since I’ve been in the South Island here today. Me and my partner come in around 4pm today and got hangi and raw fish and the lovely owner threw in a few extras as well. It was absolutely beautiful kai and I couldn’t stop saying yum! Blown away reminded me of home! Will be back in a heart beat! 🤤🤤

Absolutely delicious, as a pakeha I don’t have many opportunities to eat hangi, so this was perfect. Not only was the food yum but the fry bread was huge, will definitely eat again!!! 😊

I am from up north and needed a seafood fix and I got exactly that here! The creamed paua fried bread pocket was heavenly. Hangi had an awesome taste but I wasn't keen on the piece of pork as it was a porkbelly strip. Otherwise it was awesome and I will definitely be going again

Literally the only thing I crave when coming into Christchurch from the country is their beautiful fry bread!! the seafood chowder pockets are my favourite but I always get a paua pocket and the golden syrup cinnom sugar one too I can't resist and the ladies are always lovely worth the wait 1000% and they are suppper filling lunch dinner and late night munchies yumm yummm yummm well done ✅

How we got to come here was because my Hubby was hungry for Kina. So I goggled Kina Christchurch and this place came up as well as a few other places. This was close to our location so we rocked up and OMG it was more than we anticipated. We ended up having the $20 meal of hangi fry bread raw fish and a drink. It was Awesome... REAL HEARTY food and cooked to perfection. We also had a Paua pocket which was Divine. After all that we walked out with a full Puku and NO KINA LOL. They had some but we brought everything else and forgot about what we really came for.. Nga Mihi Ana Kia Koe...Mauri Ora...

Small restaurant with a lot of new zealand specialties to taste. Finally we could try a hangi for a very good price, it was really tasty and pretty big as well. We also tried the paua and the cinnamon pocket, both were really big and really good. Would absolutely recommend!

All I can say about this place is YUM .. YUM... YUM .... & the lady who runs it is very nice ...I would highly recommend this place to all with value for your money pending on what you buy as we normally just buy the cream paua done in fried bread 10/10. I will upload a photo to this in the weekend when I go back.

Thanks for the delicious hangi meals delivered to my work! Sharing hearty hangi meals as part of our Waitangi Treaty awareness week has brought our colleagues together, and for many, it’s their first hangi. Geneva has been absolutely amazing in her hospitality by introducing the foods to a couple of us beforehand and the 35+ meals plus sides were delivered in well organised packages. The meals were huge and of excellent value!
