What a way to start our day, the pancakes are truly famous and worth every penny. Fluffy and thick, the flavours on them were so good. We ordered the bacon and banana pancake and also the pancake of the month, the Earl Grey peach. We got a small serving of chocolate as well for an extra $1.5 and that was worth it too to switch up a little. If you're Asians like us you won't be able to finish probably so get a half stack instead of the full. A must go to this place.

Brilliant breakfasts. Serve gluten-free options for coeliac patients as well. Great to bring kids but too crowded if you have infants. Very popular in Dunedin and probably the best Capers I have been to so far in Australia and New Zealand combined.

Good place to go for a meal during the day, famous for their pancakes which are always really good. I felt like something savoury today and got the omelette which was really nice. My partners meal was also really good and we used the Grabone buy one get one free coupon. Service was great, food good and coffee good. No complaints. Will be returning again in future and would recommend to people visiting Dunedin. Tuesday is also buy one get one free Pancakes so that's a great deal! I also believe they do radio One card student deals

Incredibly amazing and enormously large pancakes are their specialty. They make those big pancakes for giant's breakfast or brunch. Their other menu is worth trying but dont miss trying what they are famous for. They are open for breakfast all day and for brunch from 11am to late.

Delicious and fluffy gourmet pancakes with massive student discount (2 for 1 with a ‘radio one’ card). The staff were friendly and the cafe was nice (though slightly basic compared to some of the upper market cafes/kitchens further up the road). Would recommend though 😊

Great place to brunch. The works had everything I would want in a hearty breakfast. Coffee was excellent. The wait was minimal even though it was busy.

Capers is probably one of the best cafes in Central Dunedin! It’s spacious and the staff are welcoming. There’s a wide variety of food and drinks to choose from. The pancakes there live up to their fame, especially the current pancake of the month (cookies and cream). Finally, the 2 for 1 pancake Rad1 deal makes it well worth the visit! The only downside is that they close the kitchen around 2pm.

The food here was all amazing! It was fast service and low prices. The have everything from wrap's to milk shakes with all different kinds of berries. This place is very similar to IHOP or a Denny's. They have something for everyone.

A really nice cafe to enjoy all day breakfasts. Pancakes are quite fluffy, really enjoyable. View of the church across the road.

Large servings. Spent my birthday breakfast here and got a little surprise on my pancakes. So sweet and friendly staffs.
