Have only just discovered this hidden gem and have returned 3 times in the past week. The Kitchen Table has a great vibe, matched with beautiful food and coffee. The meals are very reasonably priced and are so fresh and tasty! The juices are delicious.. Can't wait to try some of the sweets they have on offer in the cabinet - friands look amazing !
This place is so much cleaner than when it was Tangente. The food, particularly the bread, is very good, the staff very pleasant
and prompt. I shall be back to try the banana bread..huge serving, by the way :)
My only problem is having my food served on a tiny chopping board. Please, give me a plate next time so that the dressing on my salad doesn't dribble all over the place.
Fabulous eggs Benny, lovely cabinet food. great coffee and fantastic service from these talented and passionate owner operators. Decor is inviting and you can usually find a park straight outside. So recommended, and their bakery artisan bread is the bee's knee's!
Great place to meet and start your day with delicious food and probably the best service I have had in a restaurant for some time. Friendly competent staff and a barista that made me think of the Eveready battery bunny ( he just never stopped). Despite some inconsiderate crowd reserving a large table and not turning up on time meaning we had to squeeze onto a little table the staff were excellent and our food was delivered in double quick time. The porridge was superb and the Eggs Benedict were also the best we had eaten for a long time. We will definitely be back, we will reserve the large table and WE will be on time!!

The menu is written on blackboard so I think it changes regularly. They have a nice selection of cabinet food too.

Ordered eggs benne and haloumi open sandwich, berry brioche. Food was flavorful and absolutely delicious.

Ordered the Bagel with cream cheese and jam and it was delicious! I can't stop thinking about it! Also a citrus slice which was very nice and a caramel latte which was fine
Came back again, got the bagel, friend got the big breakfast. Good poached eggs and good portions, a lot of bacon! Very friendly staff and delicious looking bread
The food is good, the coffee tasted alright, but presentation side can have some improvement.

I came in for breakfast to takeaway, the service was awesome, The staff were so warm and friendly. The hot chocolate was one of the best I've had, and the bagel with sundried tomato and cream cheese was delicious. I will definitely be back in the future.
I've been waiting for a visit to here for three years. I love the high ceiling and the large windows. You can find so many cosy spaces within this cafe. The staff are friendly and the coffee is good. Pretty close to the city centre, it's good to take some time and have a breakfast here.

Decent prices for Massive portions. All bread made in house. Focaccia was herby and delicious. Cabinet slices looked impressive too.
Great little cafe and bakery just up the hill from The Octogon. Well worth a little walk as it's not far and the place is very cool. Great ambience and really friendly staff. Service was quick too. Food looked awesome but we just stopped for coffee. That was excellent. Might have to come sample some food in the bear future!
