Recommend their frozen steam buns. Bbq pork is really yummy. Lots of Asian food selection. Plenty of parks outside. Just need to watch out for expired date.

This place I love to shop at more than any other Asian food market. Here's why ; 1. It's owned by a family who work suoer hard and are lovely members if our community. 2. Their food is very standard fare that I found when Ioved I China for 8 years. 3. They have all the condiments, noodles, spices, and even the over the counter medicines I used in China and thought I would never find . Very grateful for this store and think the owners are very lovely people.

Great place for Asian groceries. Goods are available in a good selection of sealed packages of various weights. Good selection of cooking utensils. Freezers well stocked. Trading on Sunday has changed slightly to opening time of 12.30 pm. Rest of the week is normal.

Sew Hoy is a unique store and a integral part of Dunedin’s history. I buy fried tofu (great), spices and dried herbs here for Asian and Indian cooking. As so many of our heritage stores are taken over by modern chains, i find it comforting to support a local icon.
