Food was delicious. Soft shell crab. Highly recommend. Not sure if they redecorating but seating area cramped with boxes around etc. would have been 5 stars otherwise.
Always an awesome place to get takeaways from! Enjoyed every dish we have had from here with the yellow curry and pad see ew being favourites :)
We had a mixed entree, Crispy crab dish and flat noodles. The meals we had was exceptional. We will definately coming back to try authentic Thai flavor again.

I really enjoyed my lunch here at Red Crab. I was glad there was parking outside the restaurant given the location.
The service was friendly and relatively quick. Their lunch menu is so worth it at $12 a main. Their entree platter was amazing and we got to same a bit of everything from their entree menu as well as scallops!
The beef was cooked to perfection and the flavour was delicious. Their salad dressing is full of flavour and soul tasty.
The green curry had lots of chicken and accompanying vegetables. It was light and lead you wanting more.
I would definitely recommend this place and I would definitely dine here again.
I organised a work gig for 15 people - well catered for and food was simply superb. Great night.

One of the few places in Auckland that serve som Tam and this place is one of them! The hot pot was divine and so was the soft shell crab- I'm glad we took him up on his suggestion 😊 loved the food and excited to try the rest of what they have to offer! P.s. the scallop they served us brought back memories of thailand. Deee-lish!!!

Excellent food and service. We tried their chicken satay with sticky rice, Thai beef salad, Pla Rad Prik (a whole snapper in sweet and sour sauce), traditional fried banana with ice cream, kid’s M&M with vanilla ice cream and ice cream sundae and they were all great and tasty. The beef in Thai beef salad was very tender while the whole fish was just crunchy and tasty. Definitely will visit again.

Well-balanced flavour so not too strong spicy and sweet. It's a small restaurant but with a good vibe from friendly staff and the interior. I enjoyed having my food.
A nice little place beside the Ellerslie village centre. We used to come here for couple of times before lock down. The place was quite popular. I ordered the famous green curry chicken, yellow chicken and my favorite Panang lamb curry. The foods are nice. Not too spicy. Not too sweet as well. Even I did not order rice. The staff kindly include three portions of rice. Thank you.
Great meal and great service, nice looking of street food style. We really enjoyed our meal and especially the special menu of braised pork leg. Definitely would be back for more
Always saw the the sign on the motorway so got to see and try on Sat. Wow it is a little hideaway restaurant. Loved the food! Very reasonable price. The soft shell crab was similar to one I tried in Thailand. YUM!! Will visit again
I love their authentic Gai Larb. It's my comfort go to dish. The staff at Red Crab are friendly, fantastic and the cuisine is very lovely. Red Crab is a conveniently located local restaurant to work.
Delicious. Great little eatery in an obscure neighborhood. Seems like they cater mostly to take aways. Would definitely come back to try other dishes
Had dinner with family, tried their red crab signature dishes except for som tam, instead had tum yong goong, superb quality and affordable. Love their crab cake. The set back though, needs more parking space and serving time should improve to 20mins waiting time. Highly recommended 👍
