A quaint country pub about 15 minutes inland, west of Oamaru. The staff were warm and friendly. It was a quiet Wednesday afternoon. Great view look looking west.
The food was ok for pub grub. We had the soup of the day, which was bacon & pumpkin, fish of the day, which was gurnard, and a chicken
Nice pub atmosphere, good food and friendly service. Nothing fancy, but the menu has decent variety, with gluten-free options on most items, and a couple of vegetarian choices. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating.
This is a must visit if you are looking for a great pub meal. Great service, and food. It was a Lovely sunny day and they have nice outdoor tables. Few minutes drive from Oamaru. I'll definitely be back.
Amazing place, friendly welcoming staff and my favourite fish and chips to date. A cold 1905 beer from Scotts brewery and blue cod go perfectly. Pleasant place to spend the afternoon with stunning views, friendly locals and occasionally some cool old muscle cars in the car park. Best place to chill

Stop off to have a drink this afternoon. Well impressed with welcoming staff and atmosphere, we decided to come back for dinner. Most accommodating when rung to see if we could make a booking, that they even pick us up in their courtesy van. Great meal and service. Definitely will be back.

A quick stop on our Sunday bike ride for a bite to eat. Place was full of happy guests and we enjoyed fast friendly service and a fabulous chocolate, caramel and walnut brownie! YUM!
