Review Drover’s Return Bar & Cafe - Feilding

Great food. We ordered Rib-eye steak, Margarita Pizza and a burger. Food was delivered quickly and was really good. The service could have been better. On entering the person behind the bar wasn't very welcoming. She just asked 'table for 2?' without a hello or other greeting. We got some slices to take home and they were really good. Overall, good food and a great price too! Would definitely go back!

Came here last night with family, never been before (first experience was a takeout). The four of us loved our meals which consisted of pizza's, a burger and a steak. My steak was cooked to perfection. Great atmosphere, lovely decor. The two bartenders we dealt with - Jenna and Betty - were lovely, very helpful and polite, will definitely be back! Thanks for a top notch meal Kim 😁

Great food! Chips were delicious as was the pulled beef burger 😋 fast service. Will definitely be making another visit without the children. Food was well priced.

Brilliant service on Thursday night for our party of 13. Staff did an amazing job considering they were short staffed and the place was full. Saw the party of 8 turn up without a booking and expect to be seated and thought staff handled it well. Who on earth would expect to turn up with a party that size without a booking - you wouldn’t do it at a restaurant or the movies so why here? We all know the struggles faced by hospitality businesses so be kind!

Good service and friendly staff. 1 out of the 6 meals we ordered was wrong but was replaced with the right meal. My steak (medium rare) was cooked to my liking. Nice quiet atmosphere and tables well spaced. We will be back.

Hot chips are great but had to ask for sauce which was given free. Hazy ale is delicious.

Has somewhat more of an upmarket-ish feel. Have some on-tap beers that are different from other pubs around here - love that. Also new, I see they have some three varieties of tasty looking nuts as a bar snack. Cool! Next time.. I liked the tasty burger too. Seems a place where you don't just get everyone else's beer, or food.

Popped in for some lunch on a sunny Feilding day. The place was a bit busy but we didn't have huge wait (even though we were told that the kitchen was a bit under pressure as the chef had broken her arm), food was great and well priced. The guy behind the bar did really well explaining to customers the (short) wait, and that the kitchen was running a limited menu due to the chef's broken arm. Only four stars because they didn't have a highchair, our little guy was pretty happy to sit on our laps though.

Had a meal with a group last night and yet again they proved why they are my favourite eatery. Amazing pizzas, the staff are always fun and friendly. Thank you again!
