Service is great. Food and coffee are amazing. There are so many yummy choices to choose from, and the prices are really affordable. Cafe has a great vibe too.

I recommend a visit to Gladstone Bakehouse Cafe. The coffee, made by the Barista team is a quality flavour, always consistent, beautifully presented and always severed with a smile. The food is delicious a choice of cakes, sandwiches, pastries and a hot cabinet with food on the ready. You can order meals from the menu board all beautifully prepared and reasonably priced, the hardest part.... What to choose???.... The friendly staff always make you feel valued and welcome. Gladstone Bakehouse Cafe is a great place, great food, great service and a really nice place to meet or take your friends and family out for a treat..... if visiting you will be delighted. Jake is extra.... 😊

Amazing range of cakes, savoury and deep-fried hot foods. Lovely long window open to passing foot traffic. I had berry unbaked cheesecake and I was happy to pay for whipped cream. Portions were generous and customer service was great with my questions and extra requests. Lovely hot cappuccino and requested extra milk. I was holiday from Queensland.

Staff have super lovely customer service and very welcoming attitudes. The food is reasonably priced and very yum!! Will be coming here again for sure!

We're regulars here. The coffee is great. Good selection for everyone in the family including sweet treats, hot cooked meals or if youre in a rush they have all the classic bakery pies and sandwiches ready to go. Prices have definitely increased recently (as everything has) but my favorite Spinach and Feta quiche is now nearly $8 so it's not at the top of the list every visit. Servers are friendly and helpful. Lines can get abit long in rush hour of course but they get through the customers very quickly. Don't be surprised on a sunny day if a bird or two sneak in to grab their own lunch! :)

I come here for lambchop breakfast but I skip the eggs. I ask for a whole grilled tomato and salad and toast. If I’m really hungry I’ll add fries. Washed down with a flat white. DEELICIOUS ! I always get 2 asparagus rolls for later and if I have a sweet tooth that day I’ll get a lamington. Try the pancakes with a piece of fried chicken on the side yum yum! They have a few tables outside also which get morning sun which means in the hot summer afternoons there will be shade. All the workers here are sooo nice.

An unexpected brekky visit as the munchies kicked in, so checked out the breakfast menu,yeah not bad,Good variety of food stuffs,parking out front,dine in or out.

There are many kind of food and beverage to choose. Decoration is nice and environment is comfortable. Price and quality is good. If you want to find a standard coffee shop in gisborn , you should ... come here

Always a great feed. The steak pies are packed with tender meat, with the right amount of gravy 😋, pastry perfect with a nice crust. The custard pies are some of the best I've ever had. The big brekky pretty good too. Best bakery in town.

We were on our way to another Cafe and the menu here caught our eye. Amazing service! Super friendly and the most yummiest food and coffee's ever! Beautiful breakfast 🤩 I had the French toast and my partner had the eggs benedict. 10/10 would recommend.

Relaxing atmosphere, quick service

Lots of variety to suit everyone. Had vegetarian options. I came very close to closing, so limited cabinet food as expected. Quick, friendly service. I got a bacon and egg quiche, battered crab stick and chicken kebab from the cabinet. All were cooked wonderfully. They have a huge selection of desserts in the cabinet, which I will choose next time. Staff here are hard working and friendly, I will continue to support this bakery when I visit Gisborne.

Friendly, polite service and incredibly reasonably-priced food from a large, varied menu. The smoked salmon eggs Benedict is the cheapest around and is delicious! I highly recommended this Bakery.
