Super cool friendly staff. Very clean and tidy cafe. Amazing views both inside and outside. The food is wonderful... great coffee and hot chocolate. Perfect baking of muffins and slices. The kiwi burger and the fish n chips are both made with style... oh the hot chips are so yummy. Perfect venue for a quiet pitstop or a big gathering.
What a gem of a place on the main road through Governor's Bay. A friendly place with the most amazing eggs benedict ever! Big crunchy chips, and the kids chicken was just lovely. Beautiful views and plenty of tables Inside and out to choose from. Well worth stopping at. Definitely will be back!!!! A+++

We had a great time on Sunday afternoon, listening to music by Chris Lake and enjoying the Burgers and Beers. A perfect place to relax and enjoy the view. Thanks Nic and Team
Romantic spot and great to bring your bueatiful coffee and food etc blessings
New cafe in the familiar location with great views of Governors Bay. Friendly and hospitable staff.
An amazing little cafe with peaceful surroundings. One of the cafe staff said, "the views never get old." Very true. He kindly showed interest in my canoe trip to the little Islands. The decking has been built to maximise the views of Quail and King Billy Islands as well as some beautiful beaches in the harbour.
The best view, lovely staff!! Look forward to returning!! Highly recommend!
I enjoyed a lovely morning tea at Harbour House this morning with my elderly parents. The cinnamon pinwheel was absolutely delicious, if I resided in Christchurch I would be enjoying these as many times as I could. The staff were so generous and kind as I had left my phone at my parents and I wanted a photo of us, so a staff member took a few photos using another staff member's phone, and then they were emailed to me. It was a very kind gesture as I do not live in Chch and so the opportunity to take a photo with my parents in the wonderful setting of Harbour House, and the surrounding views was too good to be missed. Thank you so much, I really appreciated your kindness, and of course the cinnamon pinwheel.
