Service is always quick and they are always welcoming. Food is great although sometimes a bit hit and miss, so I do wonder if they have more than one cook.
Place is in need of a little makeover but the food was great. Portion size was generous. Prices are fair. My daughter thought was best Chinese she's ever had and she's not easily pleased. Would go back even for takeaways.

2 person banquet was great value and the food had flavour. Service was a bit lacking but that was because there was only one young man serving, answering the takeaway phone and dealing with counter orders. He did a pretty good job considering.
I found this place by accident, I wanted a lunch meal with vegetables, the meal consisted of either rice or noodles with veges and meat, takeaway or eat in, I ordered a $10 dish consisting of rice, veges and sweet and sour pork, the meal size was very generous for the price also available is fine dining with house wines and beers subject to corkage fees or byo, I'd certainly go back when in greymouth, for those looking for something different go see for yourself
I mainly have the lunch time deal there, with my fresh preference with the in-house chilli and soy sauces. Very tasty and good value with a pot of green tea, all for $12.50 per serve. Staff are helpful and obliging. Best value and tasty. Their lunchtime menu is beef, chicken, sweet sour pork stir fry with rice or noodles from the baine Marie. I get there around midday to get fresh and generally tasty Kiwi Chinese meals at their best. Have had consistently good meals and service. 😋
Ok usually, Low range of vegetables, therefore a little overpriced. one time they reheated food from the lunch buffet for an order off the menu for dinner, we expected our meal cooked fresh for the price.
Fantastic food and excellent customer service. A bliss to the small town of Greymouth. Will come back again!
