Ordered from Skoff and had it delivered to our hotel room. Was so convenient and delivery was super quick! The food isn’t amazing but it is nice and I felt it was pretty cheap overall. We ordered the pumpkin risotto, butter chicken, kids fish and chips, chocolate mousse and orange cake. The orange cake is delicious, portions were perfect for us. The rest is pretty average.. But $60 for food delivered to your room including dessert was a winner for us (we have 2 kids so was better than lugging them around at night when we don’t know the city!) :)
Such an amazing place, good takeaways for if you're wanting something that is like a home cooked meal or if you want something different to the conventional takeaway. A little bit on the pricey side but I think that it is worth it. I used to be absolutely obsessed with the butter chicken before I moved to Wellington (need it there so bad) and before I became a vegetarian so hopefully I can just get the sauce with lots of tomatoes instead of chicken because it's amazing!! Highly recommend.
This is the only place that offers quality home cooked meals that are available to takeaway. However I would note they are rather overpriced but I guess you are paying for the convenience.
I had the pork spare ribs and the sticky all and date pudding. It was delicious! The mashed potato was so yum and creamy. Cannot fault it at all. Definitely going back to try the other menu listings too!
We have been getting meals delivered over the last couple of years from Scoff @ Claudelands. We have tried most items on the menu even the kids meals for when family & friends visit, I can honestly say Always without exception we get Great food with Great service! What I like about it is that you don't feel like you are getting takeaways all the time, from Fish to Curry or an awesome homemade Burger we love the lot! It makes it so worthwhile with such reasonable prices! Well done Scoff!
Awesome food, the kind of food one would expect to pay top dollar for in a restaurant but instead one gets to pay reasonable prices and eat with your feet up in front of the telly.
Highly recommended for those that appreciate good wholesome food and swift pleasant service.
Been eating at scoff for years. Not tried everything on the menu(can't stand couscous) but my favourites are always great. Have tried a couple of awesome specials. It was feeling a bit stretched a few years ago but the owners seem to have found some good staff and it's been consistently up to standard since. Great value and a great service. Bring back the Plum Pudding..
Apart from needing more staff (our wait was quite long, even just to order), our experience of Scoff was great. My partner and I both had an 'original' burger and it was DIVINE!!!! Truly! Delicious! The chips are also really nice. Everything is so fresh and tasty. Not greasy or gross. Thanks Scoff!
This is a 10/10 place. They have officially become my favorite restaurant. They do the BEST ribs hands down. I've only ever had one mistake out of all the times I've gone there. Which must be more than 10 by now. Ribs and pudding w/ice cream is my regular. And they immediately fixed the issue and have taken extra special care with my food ever since. Like next level TLC on my food. HIGHLY recommend you try this place. I've had the lamb, lasagne, the ribs, the pasta, desserts. Just all sorts and honestly they are my favorite place hands down! They're amazing all round.
Great comfort food on a cold, wet evening. Picked up Lamb shanks with mash and peas and Apple and date pudding for dessert. Ready in 20 mins. Good serving size. I would have liked slightly more flavour in both dishes, but cooked beautifully and meat fell off the bone.
Only had delivery but it's been excellent. Veges, so hard to get in takeaway are awesome fresh and well cooked. Every dish so far has been brilliant. Special praise for the roast chicken

Consistent in their food. Been ordering Uber eats from scoff for a year now and everything is always fresh and delicious.. Absolute winners! I love Chicken fettuccine and the kids meals. Sausage/chicken mash and peas. Everything is really decently portioned. Highly recommend 💕
Excellent food! I ordered the roast chicken with mash and vegetables plus the banana cake which was absolutely delicious! Generous portion size and great value. Had delivered and it arrived piping hot 🔥 Highly recommend
I had the bacon fettuccine and a bread and butter pudding and was very impressed. The portion sizes were great and the pasta was well cooked with the right amount of sauce and good pieces of mushroom.
I ordered Large Chips, Crumbed Fish, Lamb Shanks, Pork Ribs and Chocolate Mousse. Food was excellent. It was ready in about 20 minutes despite the fact that only two staff were on duty at peak time. Portions were good. Perfect value for money. I would definitely order again and can recommend Scoff to anyone.
The lamb & peas & mashed potatoes was amazing & the bread pudding too. The creme brulee topping wasn't on top as normal it was in the brulee which was not as set & their was a note to put in fridge but I didn't care cause it was so yummy. My first order at Scoff loved it so much I have ordered dinner again tonight from Scoff 🙂.
Wasn't disappointed, meals exactly as advertised, home made style with generous portions and very tasty. The chips were the crispest most delicious I have had for a long time, the lamb shank succulent and fish burgers puts mackers fish fillet to shame.
