If your just after a good feed of fish and chips. This is your place. Fish was fresh and cooked well. Have been a few times. 5 outta 5 from me. Would go again and again.

Food is incredibly tasty and despite always being busy staff are always friendly and wait time is never usually very long.
Excellent value for money and portion sizes are bigger than your typical fish and chip shop.

Amazing fish and chips, probably the best in the Waikato. Crispy batter with no oily aftertaste, can really recommend the large snapper - $10 but huge chunk of fish that feeds two. Cheese and onion fritter was delicious. Not open on Mondays - doesn’t say online but hours are on the door.
The BEST fish burger! The fish is fresh and flaky, not rubbery or with a "frozen" feel and texture.
The staff are happy to see you and the shop is clean.
There is a bit of a wait if you don't phone your order through first, but it's well worth the wait.
Will definitely be back another day for sure!
Amazing fish and chips and burgers, especially the chips. Such lovely service, he always treats you like your the first and only customer even though it has been flat out and nearly an hour wait. Only con being if I haven't thought to ring in early enough on a fri/sat night it's an easy hr wait. Defently worth the wait if you have thought ahead.
Super fresh fish! This stuff is much much better than your average Chinese takeways! A bit of a long wait, but worth it! Will be back for more!

Probably one of the best fish and chip stores in Hamilton. The fish we ordered was fresh and cooked perfect, chips were yummy too! We were served by honest friendly people. The waiting time was a little bit long but worth the wait. I would recommend this place to everyone looking for a fish and chip shop in Hamilton.
Our fave fish n chips since we move to hamilton! Great owner.. Always busy but always fast too.. We always get their chocolate doughnut also with their fish and chips absolutely
The only thing wrong with this place, is its too far away from our place - seriously, stop here for a feed - don't go past the spring rolls, elephant fish and donuts - you won't be disappointed that you ate too much - super nice people, super yummy food - fresh fish, perfect batter and generous portions of chunky chips - all round great kai experience - thank you!!!
Great place..awesome burger the works burger..blew my mind..fish fresh and flaky..chips thick,crisp out soft middle..what can i say..great price,great service..double meat burger friend ordered was abit dry..but if you added cheese etc..would be fine. Will go again definitely.
Just finished one big family pack and it's the best I've ever had.... everything was so tasty, fresh and chips are crispy... worth every penny... lovely staff..clean and tidy place...simply the best

The oil they used you could tell was clean/new. Had a flavourful that wasn't too greasy, was good.

My family really enjoyed the chips as they are crunchy. They use quality fat to cook. The Lemon fish is my two kids favorite and it is fresh as all there fish is. The price is standard. There service is good and friendly. All the staff working hard and trying to cook the best quality food. They use the light batter to cook so I like the taste. The shop is nice and clean. If you want good quality food go there.
I just love the Hawaiian Burger 🍔 and the way they cook there meals.

Fresh seafood, well cooked chips, steak egg burgers are made to perfection. Staff give great service and are very friendly. If you haven't been here before your missing out. Long story short it's the best fish n chip shop in Hamilton!!
Used to be the best family owned fish and chip shop in the area but had a change of owners about a year ago and while the food is still better than the average fish and chip shop the atmosphere is different and there is a grumpy and at times rather unwelcoming lady there that sours the experience. Still worth going for the food but order ahead of time to avoid sitting and seeing the angry Asian lady grumpy at work lol. I do go back but try others as well so no longer my go to fish and chip shop in Hamilton
