Isobel's Hanmer Springs Restaurant - Hanmer Springs - Photo album

Beautifully furnished and cared for. We enjoyed the spa in the deluxe suite and had a second-story view over the snow-topped mountains. Great space, very quiet, perfectly situated. Staff all excellent and on site 9am-9pm. Don't forget to ask in advance for your complementary newspaper.
Had a wonderful stay at the St James. Absolutely top rate customer service which makes such a difference. Convenient location right in the village, but tucked away far enough overlooking a park with lovely views so it hits just the right balance. Would stay again for sure!
Great place to stay while in Hanmer Very relaxing atmosphere, great reception by the manager. Centrally located to everything Hanmer has to offer. Only pity we couldn’t stay for longer
Fantastic place to stay whilst in Hanmer. A nice light, clean & large room. Excellent accom
I recently had the pleasure of staying at The St James hotel in Hanmer Springs, and it was truly a delightful experience. Salil and his team exceeded my expectations with their exceptional service. Salil's adept team management and people skills were evident in every aspect of my stay. The staff exu
Winter holidays. Loving this place. Easy walking distance to the pools and shops. Clean rooms. Staff were awesome. Definitely would recommend staying here.
We were so impressed with our room, and the friendly, professional service. Everything that you could want was there, and it was super clean.
The perfect place for a weekend away. Walking distance to everything, bike locking area too which is helpful. Will definitely be staying again and recommending to all.
Stayed for one night, but would love to come back and stay for longer. Large, immaculately clean room which is furnished well and a very comfy bed. The balcony and views were the icing on the cake! The room was quiet and private with lots of space. Our hosts were lovely and very helpful, they even p
Very clean, great bathroom, heated floors, big TV with Sky, Netflix and YouTube. Warm, quiet and being Hanmer walking distance to everything.
Thank you for a lovely stay. Close to town, clean, tidy and new. Would highly recommend.
Brilliant location, very clean apartment and excellent customer service from Front desk. We booked an upstairs executive spa room with balcony (room 206) which was well worth it, amazing views, walking distance to bakery that opens early for coffee and crossiants and stumbling distance to all bars.
Photo is the view from our room. Great location and very welcoming and friendly staff. The room was ever so slightly on the small side, and the bed a fraction too soft for my taste. But otherwise a very enjoyable stay.
A bit pricier than other places but very immaculate. Feels brand new. Great facilities if you want to eat in. Spacious rooms so a significant step up for your typical NZ 'motel room'. Decent balcony. Would definitely stay here again.
We had an excellent stay - our hostess went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, and the room and facilities were very clean and luxurious. We would absolutely stay here again.
St James was a lovely place to stay, with beautiful views of the mountains. The room itself was large and felt very comfortable and nice to be in, it felt like it was quality, not something cheap trying to be flash. Had everything we needed and more, good facilities inside the room, and the underfl
We booked the Executive Spa Studio for 2 nights. There was a warm and genuine greeting by Paul and Rae when we arrived. The room is lovely, kitchen has all the amenities you need, bed is very comfortable, bathroom floor is heated and the spa bath was awesome. All the little extras like the chocolate
